Completed estimate in timely manner. Scheduled work. Called and asked if coming sooner would work. I was delighted with work. Have used Collier's for many years and been greatly appreciative for their expertise, good service, and thorough cleanup after they have finished.

It was a significant amount of money. It went very well. They completed the work in less than the estimated amount of time. They were very professional. We are quite happy with them.

The crew showed up on time, introduced themselves and then went around with me to confirm which trees were to be pruned. Other than a lunch break, they worked straight through the day without interruption and, when done, did an excellent job of cleaning up.

We have had to put other projects on hold because of their lack of professionalism. We[re disgusted and would not recommend them.

I have used Collier before and their workers are alway extremely professional, friendly and hardworking. The birch was near a short fence and shrubs and they took the tree down with no damage. They always clean up and,besides the tree being gone/firewood left behind, you can hardly tell the work was done. They probably are not the least expensive, but they do an excellant job.

Collier Arbor Care provided estimates and completed several large jobs on our residential and rental properties. Unlike other tree care companies that we have used in the past, Collier did not try to break our budget or get every dime out of us that they could. Rather, they took a reasonable, measured approach, setting short term and long term priorities, and presented us with a plan that met our needs exactly. They have been completely reliable and we couldn't be happier with the results.

I called to make an appointment with an arborist. Terrill arrived promptly and walked through the yard with me, listening to what I thought I wanted and making suggestions about how best to deal with specific trees. He gave me an estimate which seemed high, but when I read through his detailed description of the work to be done, I realized I probably couldn't expect to have the work done to my satisfaction for any less. Terrill said his office would call back to schedule the work. His office called the next day and said they could do the work in 4 weeks. The work crew of three arrived right on time. The crew leader walked through the yard with me, going over the items on his work order. They completed the work in under three hours and were responsive to me requests to "cut a bit more" here and there. They cleaned up well before leaving.

Lyle came out in early June and walked the property with us, I specifically chose this company because of their advertised knowledge, certifications, and insurance and didn't want to hire "2 guys with a pickup truck". Lyle indicates he is a board certified master arborist and he certainly appears to know his trees. He gave us very english like answers to our questions and made several recommendations that we had not considered. He wrote up a detailed quote of his recommendations on the spot. We decided to go with the company and scheduled the appointment for the next month. The crew of three (Austin, Brian, and Dan) arrived on time, reviewed the work to be completed with me, and went right to work. I was impressed by their focus on safety and cleanliness. They climb all the trees manually and all were appropriately tied off at all times. Whenever they were going to drop a branch or trimming they would call out to the other crew members to ensure their whereabouts. When they weren't busy working on a tree they would all grab rakes and brooms and cleanup. They left the area cleaner than when they started. Additonally, the 10% off Angies coupon was honored and saved us hundreds of dollars.

We have used them for several years. Anyone can come out for a year and provide great service. This company has great service over several years. They are always on time and professional. This company knows the history of our property and are my yard's guru. All of their worker's have degrees to answer any question you might have. They can multi-task very well and are great to work with. I am very impressed with their company. They can also diagnose plant diseases to determine what you might want to do.

Collier Arbor Care was very professional overall. Chris Ritschard, the general manager and the arborist came out to the house to give me the initial bid was very prompt and professional. He informed me that the taking out the tree would take a whole day and that his crew might have to come back to grind out the tree roots. The whole job went as he described and I am very satisfied with the job that was performed. This is a new house for me, I have not moved in as of this review, but I'm really glad Collier Arbor Care was able to take out that tree, now I can really enjoy my new house and yard. They were recommended by another of people we trusted. They were very customer-friendly. They do good work. They always make an appointment and come on time.

I met Chris, representing Collier, at the Yard, Garden & Patio show. I called to request an estimate for a Sat. as I work full time. Lyle, the arborist in Vancouver, accommodated me. I started with one idea, but after we discussed my overall goals and the trees I had wanted pruned, he made practical suggestions that helped with bringing more light while leaving shade where I need it. He helped me "reclaim" my back yard by pruning the photinia hedge, removing 2 flowering plums & a holly tree and taking out a huge overgrown laurel in front. The men arrived promptly the day that was scheduled, reviewed what I wanted done, and were gone by the time I came home that afternoon. The yard had almost no signs that they had been there beyond the work I expected done. They did an amazing job of clean-up and not one of my plants around the areas where they worked were damaged! They were truly master pruners. They also gave me the 10% Angie's List member discount.

Austin and Dan arrived on time and had me show them the plants. They knew exactly what I had told Chris I wanted and worked efficiently, taking about an hour. Both large plants were reduced in diameter about 50% and thinned, much improving the appearance. Cleanup was good also. They checked with me before they left to make sure I was satisfied with the work. I was very pleased with the results.

They are great. They can even come out when you're not there to do the work & will leave you the bill. They do really good work and we will continue to use them.

Chris Ritschard came out in June to look at the problem with the hedge and recommend a treatment plan. He diagnosed leaf spot disease and recommended spraying 3 times a year - a fall dormant treatment and the 2 (March and April) spring treatments with a cost of $125 each time. I was called the day before to let me know they would be coming so I could let them know if that didn't work for me. Julie did the spraying and was professional and efficient. She knocked on the door before starting to determine if there were any special instructions. The spray tank was on the truck and the hose seemed to have good pressure for complete coverage.

We have been using them for many years. They treat the trees on our property a couple of times a year. They are first rate people to work with, and also a well established company.

They were very clear from the very beginning how much everything would cost and what they would do for me. They came out and we went over exactly the work that I wanted to have done and they gave me an estimate. Before I had the work done I changed my mind and they were good about revising the estimate taking into consideration the changes. They came out and did exactly what I wanted. I was home when they came out so that I could make sure. I was impressed with their efficiency. The man who came out to help was extremely knowledgeable. I wanted to know about certain trees and their growing habits, what would happen, and how best to take care of them, etc.. I appreciated the information that they were able to provide me with. I would use them again in the future.

We have used Collier Arbor for a number of years to provide a variety of services (pruning, pest control, fertilization). Recently we needed to remove a large tree and overgrown hedge. They were flexible on the scheduling, showed up on time and completed the job as promised. The team that did the work was pleasant to deal with, obviously knew their stuff and communicated well. Although the tree was close to the house, power lines and a major street, it came down without any collateral damage. When they were finished all the debris was removed and the area is clean and ready for planting.

I called and made an appointment to have someone look at an ailing rhodedendron. I was quoted a price of $75 for the visit, which would then be applied to whatever service I ordered. The arborist called ahead to confirm and to let me know he was running just a few minutes late. When he arrived, he took a thorough look, made a diagnosis (not good), and didn't charge me for the visit. He then stayed to let me know about my options, covered the basics of the diagnosis (I know much more about this particular root rot bacteria) and made me feel as though his time wasn't a loss, even for such a short visit. I felt very professionally taken care of - and I would use this company again.

We have some huge old Douglas Fir trees in our yard. With the heavy snow and ice this year we had a number of large limbs that had broken way, way up in the trees. They hadn't fallen to the ground as they had hung up on branches below them. We were worried about our dogs or ourselves being near the trees when the limbs did come crashing down. We also have an asian pear tree that bears fabulous fruit but is getting too shaded by a Dogwood tree. In the largest Douglas Fir tree we have had a bat house hung for a couple of years. We hoped it wouldn't be damaged when they removed the broken limbs. They kindly removed the bat house and replaced it in a better location on the tree when they were done - Thank you! Collier arrived on time and did a fabulous job trimming the Dogwood and removing the broken limbs from the Douglas Fir trees. It took them sometime as there were quite a few broken limbs. They then removed all of the debris and cleaned up so well that you couldn't tell how much work they had done. This is the first time we have utilized their service but I can tell you it will not be the last!

Would use the company again. The work was preformed quickly and the yard clean up was an added bonus.

This company is easy to get in touch with and to make appointments. The workers stay on task the whole time and focus on getting the job done. This company is a little bit more spendy than others, but so far it seems worth it. They are honest and let you know if they don't think a tree needs trimming. They are very good at diagnosing arboreal diseases as well. My entire experience with this company has been very good.

Collier sent an estimator. He let me describe what I wanted done and answered questions about what was feasible and/or safe for the trees. Once estimated, it was about 3 weeks before work could be done. Despite the long lead time, the crew showed up when scheduled and performed the work as agreed. Despite working quickly, the crew devoted substantial time to clean up. Their previous visits were equally smooth and on one those occasions, they handled negotiations with my disagreeable neighbor, rescheduling (at no charge to me) some work to placate said neighbor.
