My family was caught by the housing market crash which resulted in us facing foreclosure on our home. My wife and I lucked into meeting Patrick Iler by chance and he helped us complete a short sale on our home, and then he helped us purchase another home that was within our budget. Patrick served as our selling agent and buyers agent, but in reality he did SO much more. Finding ourselves in a situation facing foreclosure was a terrible shock to us - humiliating, embarrassing, sickening - unlike anything we had ever experienced. Patrick is so much more than agent (and broker) he was/is a friend, counselor, and even therapist at times. He helped us through the complicated process of the short sale, and then another complicated process of purchasing a foreclosed home. Patrick was very knowledgeable and always responsive to our needs. Once Patrick knew our preferences he didn't waste our time showing us properties we weren't interested in, and he always protected our interests. One little example: Patrick noticed a serious underground water leak at the house we were trying to purchase and worked with the bank to have it repaired. Patrick profited from both the sale and purchase of our homes, and I feel he earned every cent and have never felt happier about paying a commission!
