I got 2 bids for this work and Nathan got the job because he listened. Both Nathan and the other contractor suggested an alternative way to do the work, but I did not want it done that way. Nathan bid it the way I wanted, but the other contractor bid it the way he wanted. My only (minor) complaint with Nathan was that communication could have been a little better. Other than that, I am very satisfied with the work Nathan performed.

Nathan poured a 640 sq ft basement area. For the indoor pour, he used a concrete pump and 14 yards of concrete. In addition he poured a small walkway for me. He did an outstanding job. Although our shed slab at 94 square feet was a relatively small job, Nathan completed it within his original projected schedule. Having to wait for an artisan is a reflection of how busy they are and that is a recommendation in and of itself. Except for the fact that Nathan is not a very good communicater, his business rating is very high. He stayed with his bid, exactly; he started on time, although I considered his response to my emails regarding his schedule left something to be desired. His finished work appears superior to my inspection.
