Nick came out promptly to assess our problems. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. We received a verbal and written estimate via email on the same day of his visit. He responded to our questions in a prompt manner. Damon arrived on time and installed the new operator and replaced a broken cable. He also gave the door a tuneup and explained his work in detail. Because of the broken cable, the heavy wood door was crooked in the opening and he was able to correct this problem. He was a very nice, polite guy who was concerned about doing a good job. He was obviously very experienced and his knowledge was impressive. The door is quiet and operates very smoothly. We would highly recommend Discount Garage Doors. They were happy to accept an Angies List coupon for a free keyless entry and discounted labor. We could not be happier with this company and have no negative remarks.

Called DGD, Josh came out &assessed damage. They were able to schedule me in for my emergency. Jed arrived just after 5 pm. Removed old door and installed new door and parts by 7pm. Awesome job and hauled away old one. Very professional and took pride in his work.

I was extremely satisfied with this company. Another company had told me the garage door could not be repaired and would have to be replaced, as the coils had sprung. Discount came out the next day and repaired it quickly and easily and also "tuned it up" - all in less than 2 hours. They were professional and courteous and cleaned up after themselves - and they saved me over $400! Would definitely recommend them :)

Josh Hill, was able to respond within 30 minutes of my call. I appealed to him to come as soon as possible since my wife's car was inside the garage and without the spring's assist we couldn't get the door open. When he arrived he took measurements and went to his shop to return with the correct springs and replaced them forthwith. He lubricated the door's rollers and the shuttle mechanism. He also inspected my second garage door and found it to be in good order. I mentioned the coupon that I had printed off this website. He applied the coupon toward the bill and left me with a receipt and a sticker with his company's number so if there was any questions or problems I should call.

We had a rep from Discount Garage Doors come out and give us a bid on fixing a broken garage door opener on a house we had recently purchased. They came promptly and on time. He pointed out some other problems with the garage door -- it had a large crack. The opening mechanism was badly damaged and was not very high quality to begin with. We had thought about getting an insulated door so decided this was the time to replace it. The representative talked with us about picking a door, style, windows, etc. He gave us good advice. The installation took place as scheduled, in a timely way. We are very happy with our new garage door, opener and, remotes and their features.

I don't know how to compare the price; I don't know what other companies would have charged. The quality of work was fine. His responsiveness was all right. After nursing along a creaky old wooden garage door, we finally broke a spring and couldn't get the door open so my wife could go to work. We decided to go garage door shopping after work that day. The first place we went was Discount Garage Doors. After looking at their displays and talking to Josh and his mother who runs American Industrial Door at the same location, we decided that these were the people we wanted to do business with. The door we chose was a special order that took two weeks. Josh offered to send their guy out to make our old garage door operable at no charge while we were waiting for our new door to come in. Since we had managed to wrestle the door open to get the car out we declined the offer. Josh called when our door came in and we scheduled the install. I stayed home long enough to meet the installers. I initially planned to lock the door from the garage into the house but after meeting both of their friendly young clean cut installers I felt completely comfortable leaving the door unlocked to access the rest room and went to work. The door looks perfect and will highly recommend this company to any of my residential or commercial customers. Great job Guys!!

excellant service and work! same doors that home depot wanted 600 - 900 dollars for each! we got 2 doors for just over $1000. Plus the doors we wanted were not in stock so they upgraded us to insulated door for free!
