ColorTek Painting

This was our second time working with them, but this time our experience very different. The job was to paint our son's bedroom over a limited window when we would be out of town for his surgery. Chuck committed to the job, saying he could squeeze it in between another larger project. He showed up around noon the day he was supposed to start & was very scattered & unprofessional, waffling between whether he thought he could do it because of the other larger job. He ultimately said he could & that he would start first thing the next morning. He arrived at 10am the next day still distressed, & proceeded to berate my mother (who was at our home while we were at the hospital) about how this job was bigger than he thought. He also claimed we "deceived" him the last time he worked for us by not telling him we had Covid, which we did not (we have small children with health issues and tested regularly). He will over-commit, under perform, and ultimately attempt to blame his client for it.

The quality of work was good and I would recommend them. They do the job right.

We are very pleased with the neatness and quality of their work. They were very fair in their pricing. We trusted them with our home to come in and paint while we were out of town. They even repaired a cabinet and replaced the globes on my light fixtures that I had bought. I would absolutely use them for all my painting projects!

Chuck--the owner of Colortek--does an excellent job. He is energetic so he gets the work done fast, but is also extremely professional making sure everything is covered with drop cloths and he cleans up after himself. He's done tricky interior varnish work that has come out beautifully, as well as exterior painting that still looks new 7 years later. I'd recommend Chuck and Colortek to anyone.
