The work took one technician seven hours including travel time and about $150 in parts. For this we were charged almost $2000. The workmanship is excellent and we have no complaints, but we certainly paid a price for it. The original bill was $2500 but we were given a credit after asking why it was so expensive and waiting a month for them to get back to us. No explanation was provided, just the credit. The Sales Manager called in response to my original review to provide an rational for the total charges, as stated in their response. They now claim that I refused to pay the balance of the agreed upon amount which is a lie. I simply asked for an explanation of the charges before paying and paid promptly once the explanation was provided. I suspect that there was a miscommunication between the sales manager and the person I originally asked to provide the detail, the one who did the estimate.

Very professional. Arrived exactly when they said they would, were extremely efficient, answered all questions, stuck around for a few to insure we understood how the system worked. Could not be happier. Don't let cost throw you, I chose high end equipment.

He arrived as scheduled, and thoroughly checked the reason for the problems as to why my air conditioner wasn't preforming as it did in the past. He checked the whole session before coming to the problem. He did show me the problem and how he could fixed it. I really appreciated this. He didn't make any additional sales talk, but did talk about how to upgraded the system if I wanted that. I just wanted the problem fixed, not the whole unit. He quoted me a price and gave the discounts available. I agreed, the problem got fixed just in time before the summer heat. Good job!

Called service when old unit started to fail. Serviceman did complete review, performed a "workaround" so we would have heat. Called sales and had agent come out to do estimate. He was very thorough and examined all aspects of the existing ductwork, under house etc. CAme back with two options. We chose the higher efficiency option because they offered very good financing terms. Installation of new unit was prompt and appears to be well done.

Eric was knowledgeable and professional and met all his commitments. The workmanship of the other workers was good and clean. The job went quickly and as promised.

We purchased a new 'hybrid' heating/AC system from Advanced Air and Metal in December of 2010. Eric Williams came out and gave us a bid. First of all, he showed up, he was on time, and he returned phone calls quickly...qualities hard to find in the construction world! I have never... in all my years of dealing with contractors.... been so impressed and pleased as we were with Eric's service. He explained in detail....until we understood...everything about the system and how it worked. He gave us a bid, answered every question we had, and there was no pressure to buy whatsoever. We had shopped around quite a bit, and done a lot of research on systems. We had other contractors out for bids, and most of them (when they bothered to show up) didn't even figure out the square footage of the house, much less look under the house to see the size of our ducting, etc. Eric did all of that and then explained it all to us, drawing pictures for us....you name it...until we understood completely what our requirements were for the size of the unit, the different options between hybrid/non-hybrid, and what our approximate savings could be. His bid wasn't the cheapest, but it was definitely competitive, and most certainly the best bid as far as the correct equipment for our needs. I'm usually pretty frugal, but I have to say that any extra money spent on this purchase was worth every penny for the professionalism we received in return. Eric made sure to push our order through ASAP so that we could qualify for all of the tax credits and rebates before they expired at the end of the year.....he even helped us with the paperwork! We wound up receiving almost half of the $7000 price tag back in rebates and credits! The installers were wonderful and did a great job, too. They cleaned up after themselves, and were wonderful about working around our crazy schedules. I've done a couple of remodels, and I have dealt with a lot of contractors, and I have to say this was the best experience I have ever had. I wish more contractors would take their lead from Eric and Advanced Air & Metal.... then doing a remodel wouldn't be such a chore! :) I recommend them without any hesitation whatsoever!
