They installed a roof on my brother-in-laws home. The main contact was extremely rude and even combative with even the simplest questions. They did not follow fall protection requirements and put their employees at risk while also putting the homeowner at risk. I would never recommend this company for any type of roofing project. A one star rating is too high for them.

The men were here days before we were scheduled because they had time to complete the job. Personable and extremely hard working. They never took a break. Quote for the work that had to be done was extremely reasonable. Great job. We had Canby Roof Masters in the past and would never go with anyone else. Top Notch. Pride in the work done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, we got a new roof. Was it stress free? No. They stripped off the shingles on a Friday, leaving us to wonder over the weekend whether they were going to replace the tarpaper, or not. They did indeed replace the underlayment on Monday. They stripped the roof on Friday, including all the attic vents and flapper vents, leaving them open and exposed over the weekend. We asked them to cover the holes to prevent squirrels or birds from entering, and they promised to do so, but ultimately didn't cover them. Not sure if a family of squirrels is living in my attic or not. I hope not. We're they punctual? No. The Willamette Valley was going through a miserable heat wave, and they were way behind on other projects. They asked if they could start at 7am or earlier, and even though it meant getting our dogs up a lot earlier than usual, we agreed. After all, safety first, and my wife and I were both on the roof the weeks prior doing some painting, and were were definitely sympathetic. But on Friday and Monday, they didn't arrive until 9:30am, so all that was for naught. Tuesday they started at 8:10am, and Wednesday, they actually did start at 7am. All told, it took 4 days, with a weekend in the middle. Were they good at cleaning up? Not really. After the first day, we found about a dozen nails in the driveway, parking strip, lawn, and flower beds. Little bits to tarpaper all over. After that, we insisted that that everything be tarped. But of course the tarps were full of holes, and not effective. Instead of sweeping up the dusty bits from the shingles (as recommended by the Malarkey Factory), which I understand contain lots of silica and other hazardous matter, they used a leaf blower from the roof to scatter it all over the place. That means they blew that stuff all over my vegetable garden. The excuse provided was "if we had to sweep, it would have added an extra day". More disappointing, is that I didn't think about our new AC compressor - I didn't put plywood over it until the 2nd day, so it's now full of bits of stuff. I would have expected they would have taken care of that. They did work really **** ** the last day cleaning up. But I'm still not parking in our driveway until my new nail sweeper arrives from Amazon this week. Did they do what I would consider a 'quality job'? Did I see evidence of pride in workmanship? Not really. We have concerns regarding the drip edge being wide enough on the fascia where the gutters go. They installed 1.5" drip edge on the gutter fascia, and on a run of 20+ feet, I have reservations whether that is sufficient to allow for enough slope in the gutters, and still protect the fascia. His excuse was "that's how we've done it for thirty years". I don't buy it. The reason I don't buy it is they brought a bunch of 3x3 drip edge the first day, but it was the wrong color, so they didn't use it. So I know it exists. The cuts on most of the drip edge corners are about 1 to 2" inches apart. His excuse was "the gutter will hide it". On the very front of the house - the thing people see first, they spliced in a 1 foot piece of drip edge (looks awful) - and didn't even cut it at the same angles! See pictures. No visible evidence of pride in workmanship on this project. But we do have a new roof, and I'm glad this is behind us.

Terrific. Of course everyone is busy but when they scheduled me they showed up and stayed the full week until finished. They cleaned up each day, worked generally from 9to 9

I liked Roofmasters a lot. They did great work and the finished product was beyond my expectations. I couldn't even tell that they were there performing work since their clean-up was so diligent. One area that I would recommend for them to approve upon is communication. I would have liked a more up-to-date status of my install date vs. me having to reach out.

After contacting several other roofing and handyman services who either didn't return my messages or couldn't get out to even look at the problem for 2-3 weeks, we finally contacted Roof Masters. They returned my call within minutes and sent someone out immediately. They were here within the hour and evaluated the issue, showing us pictures they had taken from the roof. They discovered rain water was running off the roof, in between the chimney and siding partially because there was no metal flashing installed along the chimney (the roof was installed by another company). The crew added the flashing right then and there and referred us to a handyman service whom they trusted to address the siding and interior damages. We are so appreciative of their prompt response!

We took several bids for the job, roof masters came in with the lowest bid. They gave us approximately 2 weeks lead time on the installation and they showed up as promised with no delays. The crew did a great job, everything was clean when the work was complete. Several homes in our neighborhood have utilized Roof Masters, and all have been more than satisfied!

Extremely well! Work crew was very professional, worked hard and fast. They cleaned up daily and did no damage to our yard and landscaping. All times and deadlines were met promptly. We are very pleased and would highly recommend Roof Masters to anyone.

Fantastic! Prompt, courteous, followed through in every detail. And best of all, came in under bid and our home was treated like it was their home.

I chose them because of Angie's List. They were also close to me and they had good reviews. They were prompt and did a good job.

They came out looked in crawl space and went up on roof and found the issue. They were great!

Kyle was very responding. We got a quote and on Saturday he would perform the work. Nobody showed up and Monday morning he called to let us know why. Kyle made arrangements to have the work done and to adjust the price. The workers were very courteous and did all the work they said they would do. I would use them again.

Fast call back and promote arrive for estimate. And that's where the service ended said they would get back to me to set up time to do the work I agreed to after 1 week of not hearing from them I call. Was told Don would call me back... 2 weeks now with no call. I have moved on to another company.

I spoke to Kyle last Friday about a leak at my rental house. he said he could be there on Monday to inspect the roof. He was able to fix it on the spot and check all the other potential trouble spots. Another company looked at the roof and said that it needed to replace the rubber seal which would have been more costly. I am glad I went with Roof Masters.

They seem reasonable and they cleaned the roof really good. They cleaned the downspout a little better because of all the things that goes down on the gutter. The price is good but I don't know what price is really worth.

I called around to get bids for a small job to fix a single long shingle on peak of house. A few guys (Angie's List members that I won't review) thought the job wasn't worth their time and wanted $500+ just to talk practically. One guy was going to call me back, never did. One guy was going to come by for a bid. Never heard from him again. Kept going down Angie's List till I called Roof Master. Quick response, bid of between $150-200 over the phone, sent guy out next day between jobs. Didn't have the right matching color shingle and went and got the correct one. Installed, $150 bucks. Done. That is Angie's List level service. I meant to write this review months ago and just didn't get around to it but when a friend had a leaky roof and wanted a recommendation, I figured I should post my recommendation here after giving it to my friend.

This was one of three companies that I called on Saturday, January 11th. I made sure that they had noted on Angie's List they had 24hr Emergency Service. I left a message and received a call back on Monday. I am not sure why they would advertise something they did not have. I had a leak in our roof and my girlfriend was flying out of the country Sunday and I was flying out of state Monday.

The roof looked great. The sulfate looked odd and in the future we would have them come during the rainy season, so that the zinc could be washed down. As it was, we contacted the company after a few weeks and they sent out one of the employees to wash down the roof. This is a business that is A-plus in our book. Incidentally, when we called for an estimate, the gentleman came exactly as scheduled, and not only was he professional, but he was dressed nicely and was very courteous. We will have them back for any future roofing work.

They were great, answered phones (the day before Thanksgiving)...many other places I had to leave a message and some never even called back. They came right out and got us taken care of the same day! We will use them again.

Overall it went very well. They showed up as agreed during a break between storms. They were very professional and did all the work as agreed. They worked late into the evenings to complete the roof before the next storms arrived. Each day, they cleaned up debris and made our driveway as clear as possible. After the job was completed, they did a good job of cleaning up all around the house.

Roof Masters presented a technically strong and reasonably priced proposal. I took four proposals and theirs was the least-cost technically sufficient one. They were responsive and scheduled me in just a couple weeks after accepting their proposal. Mike gave us addresses of homes with the various shingles we were interested in, and that helped with the selection process. The crew worked hard, completing the job in 2 days. Further, they did a good job with the cleanup. The issue that kept me from handing out an A was that when the crew left initially, there were several obvious issues left either unaddressed or incomplete. For example, the crew used the wrong edge metal in places, damaged a board without repairing it, did not provide edge metal in one place, and did not install the 4 additional vents called for in the proposal. I called Mike to review the issues. Mike was very fair and acknowledged all the problems. In fact, he caught one issue I had not. The issues were all addressed in just a few days and the end result was very good. Thus, I give Roof Masters a thumbs up but can't give them an A since it took them two tries to get the job done right. At any rate, I think it's a good company that ultimately will do a good job for you at a reasonable price.

I was not pleased. The price doubled by the time we were done. It was on a low ball to start out with. We have a satellite and they had to take it down to do the roof. They put it back up but didn't screw it back in or provide stability. We had to have someone from the satellite company come out and do that afterwards. We didn't find out until our cable starting going south. We started with a price of $8,200 and it ended up over $10,000. I only ended up with one other estimate and it was comparable to where they started. It was a cash deal. They didn't paint the boards that hang over; they left them as raw wood. They showed up on time every day they were supposed to be here and they worked the whole day.

Arrived on time, accomplished project in 2 and 1/2 days. Clean up was exceptional. Professional job. Well done.
