Highly satisfied with the quality and organization and preparation and skill of master craftsmen. Communication was excellent and when I had questions the answers were almost immediate (thank you Mr. Weinstein.) Incredible just watching the equipment and men move with purpose. 5 Star results. So satisfied that I will be calling for another project for K & L Industries to handle.

The cost of the project was much higher than other bids we had received but we went K/L based on other reviews. We were told they would be out in 2 weeks to do the extension but the seal coating would be done at a later date. 6 days later we were called an informed they would be out the next day to do it all. Great, we thought. They were at our house at 7:00am and started working at about 8:00. We left for work so nobody was home when they were working. We have a surveillance system we watched them use a grinder on the driveway while a loader was grading and leveling the gravel on the side of the house. After the grinder was done a guy with a blower started blowing off the driveway. This created such a huge dust cloud I couldn't even see the guy or the driveway anymore. This left a huge amount of dust and debris on my neighbors cars, driveway, and house. They were very unhappy to say the least. They also left their Gatorade bottles in our yard which was not appreciated. After the driveway was cleared off they spread the new asphalt and rolled it with asphalt roller. What I didn't know until I got home was that they had rolled over a section of retaining wall between my neighbors property and mine and snapped two of the supporting posts and boards. Not only that, but that section either didn't get enough gravel base layed down or it wasn't compacted at all because now a huge section along the retaining wall is starting to slope down and is cracking off of the driveway. The seal coating looks great with the exception of a number of small pot holes in the driveway that weren't filled it. Upon asking why they weren't filled in we were told that they would have done them if we had been home. Not sure why we have to be home to check their work or to make sure they do their job. For the money we spent you'd think they would be professional enough to check their own work. I appreciate their quick response and punctuality but, for the money, I believe they they could have been much more focused, respectful, and taken much more pride in their work. It just seems they sent their B team or trainees on this project.

They were a great group of guys. We are completely happy with the new driveway and walkways they made for us. We had only a dirt driveway prior to the pavement job. We would rehire them again.

Told them I wouldn't allow the work to be done in the rain and the owner got very mad and rude and said to never call his company again.

Keith came out and bid the job right away. He provided the bid within a week. They scheduled promptly and showed up on time and paved the driveway just as they described. We are happy and can recommend them.

Keith was very friendly and attentive to my request for the quote to be broken up into various areas. He came out within a few days, made the process very easy for me and provided the quote in a timely fashion.

Responded quickly to request with a detailed quote. Arrived on-time with a large crew who worked diligently all day. The project involved some complexity in the repairs and care in working along existing paver stones and decorative rock walls. The drive is long, steep and winding with a large irregular parking area at the top. This was not your ordinary driveway and parking pad. We were not totally satisfied with the work performed on one of the major repair areas and requested some additional finishing. The additional work was performed satisfactorily without any argument. Keith obviously knew his business and was very professional at all times. He will take care of your project and stay with it until you are satisfied.

Very responsive, worked quickly to get the quote and started on time. They had two tasks: upgrade the driveway to handle several deliveries via large trucks, and seal the driveway for some portion so that it would not be a dust zone in the summer. I was on a tight schedule, and they came through (though I paid more than I should have for the timing.) Task 1: my indication that the road was being used for several deliveries with an 18 wheeler @60,000 pounds was not sufficient to get the road up to par. They used smaller rock which immediately vanished on the first run. I had to go with another vendor who knew how to make roads, and they laid down 4" rock, and then put smaller rock on top which held up well. The rock laid down by K&L was too small, and basically was like sand. Task 2: This went mostly well despite some equipment problems, and the driveway was sealed. They worked long into the night to get it done, as the rains were on the way. The roadway where the chip and seal is still the top layer looks fine, though weeds are coming through in some patches. However, much of the area where the chip and seal was put down had to be re-covered up with 4" rock and then 3/4- to handle the truck traffic so I didn't get the value out of the product. This really wasn't a "paving" project and the requirements were a bit unusual, so I can't fault them too much for the results.

I called on June 20, and was told one of their estimators would come by the following Monday. That didn't happen. I was then contacted by the owner who promised an estimate. I called him back on 6/28/13 to ask about the status and he promised a call back. That also has not happened.

Good crew, they were efficient, worked hard and did a good job.

We chose to go with another contractor.

Keith came out and measured the property and offered me several quotes, based on different scenarios. The pricing was surprisingly affordable and when I decided how I wanted to proceed, the work was scheduled and performed promptly. Several months later, I am thrilled with my decision to pave and I only wish that I had called K&L sooner! Great job at a great price!!

They worked out wonderfully. They did a good job and were punctual. The owner was attentive to doing a quality job. They were reasonable priced. I would use them again, and would recommend them.

They were really good. They came on time. They knew what they were doing. They answered my questions. They had adequate personnel and equipment. They are family owned.

Obviously this took a lot longer that we figured from the start because of the dry rot. Billie and Todd (other contractor) worked well together to coordinate who was doing what. Billie lowered his price, because some of the work he would have done was now going to be done by the other contractor. But start to finish, I think the whole thing took about 3 weeks. I mentioned the late hours that Billie kept when he was laying down the waterproofing. His follow up plan now that the work is done is to come out and pressure wash the whole driveway to make certain no leaking it happening.

I got a bid for getting it resurfaced, getting all the cracks filled and a little brim put in to channel some water away. This started two years ago. They came out in 2007 and sealed the driveway, but they didn't seal any of the cracks. Unfortunately it needed to be fixed but it was the end of the year. I called and I called and I called several times. I did not get a reply. Finally in June 2008, they called and said they were going to come and redo it. They still didn't seal the cracks but they did redo the driveway. I called them back and they said to fax them a contract. I did that in September of last year and I still haven't heard back from them. The stuff is peeling up. They were a couple of hours late and I don't think they are professional. I will never use them again.
