"We purchased a wooden door through Truax and wound up with a $2000 DIY project. Much to our surprise, they installed an unfinished door and we are now spending a week applying the various coats of stains and finishing coats to make it ready for Portland weather. When we let them know the process wasn't clear to us and we hadn't expected this last phase in the process, they brushed off our feedback and said they "only do unfinished wood doors" and we should have known."

"One of Joe's sons came to my house to bid a window installation early in the morning Friday. He told me I should have the bid that day, but there was no bid. After the long Labor Day weekend, I waited the morning and still no bid. When I called and asked about it, a very rude man said he knew nothing about it, didn't have it, and I should go elsewhere. WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT I DID. They set me back a week waiting for them to arrive and their bid. I went with the competition. And you should, too. Really shameful treatment of a customer who was ready to go."

"I contacted Robert West on July 17th via email about obtaining a bid for hanging drywall, taping, and matching texture for my large remodel project. He replied almost three days later with a time he could come out and look at the project (July 30th). My girlfriend met with him on the 30th, she said he was nice and looked at our project. He told her would get a quote to us at the beginning of the next week (August 6th). I emailed him on August 9th to get an update. I'm writing this review on August 20 and I have not received a reply from him at all."
