Description of Work: The survey did not contain a 'NO'option to enter it, just 'Yes'. I have not used Angie's list for home repair work. I had a plumber (not to be named yet) who came out to do an estimate 2 weeks ago. I called him after a week and asked after the bid. He said he was certain that he sent the bid to my email but he would re-send that night. I still have not received the bid or a return call to see if I got it. I may send that as a review of a company that is on Angie's list as a recommended company.

+ -1 moreCalled Robertson Plumbing and the call was returned in 20 minutes. Gary Oldham, the plumber, came out the same day at the time he had told us. He diagnosed the problem as a bad valve seat. He then contacted his supplier and found a replacement part(valve seat and plunger valve). Gary returned at the arranged time and installed the part-he also did some needed additional maintenance in the tank(new flapper valve and new float). The repair fixed the problem.
Description of Work: Fixed a 40 year old toilet that would not completely stop filling the tank.

+ -1 moreThey were so nice to me. They came right out and removed the clog from the line in no time. It has been draining fine since then. I forgot the price but I was not at all mad about it. I had some other plumbers take advantage of me on prices in the past but not Robertson's. They are very honest.
Description of Work: I had a water pipe backed up and had water pooling up in my basement. They cleaned out the plumbing line and had it flowing properly again.

+ -1 moreRotten. Two calls, confirming they had correct phone number, and they never left me a message on the machine on the off chance they called when I was out.
Description of Work: I called Robertson Plumbing early in the morning to discuss a routine project. I gave them my number, and was told it would probably be a couple hours until I heard back from their man in the field. I never got a call. Early that afternoon, I called before I left the house, confirmed that they had the correct number (they did), told them I had to leave, but wanted to hear from them the next day and outlined the plumbing project that needed to be done. I never got a call the next day either.

+ -1 morePrice includes parts and labor. They are located in Boring, OR, and they serve Clackamas County. Greg is enormously pleasant and personable, and his honesty has been proven. Their staff are all very nice.
Description of Work: I was recommended this company by Jerry from Drain Doctors. The business is owned by Dennis Robertson, and one of the team leaders/ foremen is Greg. Greg came two weeks prior to doing the work, even though they were extremely busy, to look the situation over at no charge. Greg took a look at the drain and said it would probably be a half-day's work. He came back by himself to do the work at 8 am, got under the house, and rerouted the drain. The job took exactly as long as he predicted. We were prepared for it to go a whole day and to be much more expensive.
