I suppose that conflict resolution is where you really find out what kind of company you are dealing with...and this is one to avoid. The only thing they did was send someone to prove that it wasn't their fault - which their employee was unable to do. Then I heard nothing. Finally, I approached them again, and they again sent an employee out to prove it wasn't their fault - and again, the employee was unable to do it. While the employee and I both agreed that the installation was probably sound, the employee was unable to find indication that it was not their installation causing our problem. And then we heard nothing. And we approached them. And were ignored. And approached them again. And were ignored. At this point, we can either file a claim with the Contractor's Board or we can forgot it. And obviously their entire plan was to drag it out and ignore us long enough that we would drop it. The final thing I want to say is that my husband and I were pleasant and patient. We were not rude and did not treat them badly, and we did not harass them. I wrote this second review because this second set of interactions was so disgraceful that I felt my review was incomplete without it.

We hired this company because our close friend's experience three years prior had been exceptional. At every step of the way, ours was less than satisfactory. From the very beginning when our sales rep knew when we were coming to the office but he was at a meeting, almost the entire staff had gone home early, and he had failed to even complete our paperwork so someone else could take care of us, we felt a little concerned. Our experience never got better, Our installation date changed several times, my husband once called the office three different times throughout the course of two days (leaving messages for different people) but never got a single call back, the installation seemed to go well but the staff inadvertently caused a problem that kept our system from coming online for a full week. At every step, someone gave us the excuse that "we have a couple of big jobs right now". I don't know whether that meant that they were too small of a business for such big jobs, or whether they were communicating that our job was too small to be as much of a priority, but our experience was one of working with a fairly disorganized company with poor customer service priority. As a final note though, I would like to say that, on an individual basis, I enjoyed the people that worked for the company very much, and the installation process - once set with day and time - was handled beautifully: very accommodating and professional. Would I recommend this company though? There are not many options in Central Oregon, so... Because we did enjoy the staff as people, we hope our experience was atypical.
