He helped me out. He was responsive. There were a lot of calls back and forth and he was busy. The work he did was fine. I have no problems with quality. They did fair work.

River Roofing has been my go to roofer for about eight years now. It has always been for inspections and/or smallish jobs. They have always perfect in every way - brilliant at roofing, bright about approach, courteous and respectful of my property. A hailstorm last year has made it necessary to replace the roof. I worked with a couple of premier quality roofers for quotes.'s River Roofing's quote was competitive. The staff at River Roofing was outstanding in working with me and my insurance company to get the right work done the right way. Once finished with the long delays induced by my insurance company (and I'm sure my insurance company would say by me), River Roofing was able to schedule quickly even at the peak of the season. I'll produce an update review after the larger work is complete, but I am, and have been, very satisfied with River Roofing's work.

Outstanding from the first call to the office to the completion of the job onsite. Jeffery at River Roofing saved me several thousand dollars by referring an inquiry regarding two new full skylights to a local glazer he trusted who was able to just replace the glass. To be clear, he could have just accepted my request to replace the skylight, but instead considered the best and least expensive way to get the job done. Although they didn't do the skylight glass, I used the glazer they referred me to and the work was excellent and cost effective. The work on removing the old solar hot water unit required RR subcontracting a crane and removal truck (it was a big unit) - they handled everything and stayed within their estimate. The maintenance items on the existing roof was top notch. After the work was completed, I asked about the viability of the roof and was encouraged that, while the powder coat or anodizing was showing some age, the roof was sound. No attempt to upsell me additional services. I really liked working with these folks and would go to them again for any roofing needs. I think they do great work with high integrity. BTW, this work was all done four stories up (three story house).

smooth and s problems

River Roofing recently replaced our roof following a wind storm. This was our third dealing with River Roofing; approximately five years ago they repaired a leak by our chimney that we had had two other roof companies attempt to repair to no avail. Fast forward to the wind storm. . . River Roofing came out that night and did an emergency patch for us. We decided to replace the entire roof and the process was seamless; the staff were courteous, timely, dealt with our insurance company on our behalf multiple times, contacted us if there were going to be delays, cleaned up our property both following the storm and the installation, and even tacked up shingles on our shed. They may be a bit more spendy but they fix it right the first time and exude professionalism.

I called for an estimate on a new metal roof. A rep did call back, and left a message telling me he would be at my house on a particular day - no time given. He showed up and took some measurements. Three weeks later, I still haven't heard from the company. I called, but the rep was "on the phone" both times, and never got back to me. The other companies I called arranged a time convenient to me to come take measurements; showed up on time; returned estimates within two weeks; and followed up with a phone call or email to make sure I had received the estimates.

I walked in to the shop and was greeted with warm smiles. I had my kids with me and they too where treated extremely kindly. In fact when my kids started to get restless during our conversations the company owner led my kiddos into an office to let them watch TV and do crafts with his own kids who where there on a visit. With my kids being expertly occupied I brought my part into the back shop. The shop foreman looked at the pice and thought they "might" be able to make the part. He told me that the bends and rolling of the metal would be difficult but they would attempt to make the part. The first attempt at making the part was not successful. Now mind you I said this was a very difficult job. A second attempt was made at the personal time of the foreman free of charge. Ultimately the second attempt did not work out either. When I came in to look at the second attempt I talked to one of the company managers. He apologized for the mistake and I was not charged for the work. This is not my first job I have had this company do for me. In fact they have made and completed for me several parts I needed replacing for the same trailer. I am always impressed with the high level of skill and professionalism of he employees at River Roofing.
