Dave Schmidt answered my call quickly, rearranged his work to get to us first on a Monday morning, came on time, and quickly fixed the problem, at a reasonable price (very reasonable under the circumstances). What I really like about Dave is that he is a no B.S. guy who works quickly, is happy to answer all my dumb questions, and always adds value by giving me a better understanding of what went wrong, what the fix needs to be, and why. More important, he tells you when work does NOT need to be done, when a new "thing" or preventative work is just not necessary. I really appreciate that honesty and his wonderful work ethic. He's a cheerful guy who does great work and I would strongly recommend him to anyone needing any kind of plumbing work done! Mike

He did a great job. I thought the price might be slightly high but I'm not real familiar with what plumbers charge. He did a great job. He came when he said he was going to.

He was really good. Pricing was a little bit higher than I expected but not bad. He came exactly when he said he would.

Dave was very thorough and surprisingly affordable. Also, most places I called said it was a two week wait. Yeah, 2 weeks with no shower? Dave came the very next morning!

He was very responsive when I called. We discussed various options for the service. On the appointed morning he called to ensure I was ready and said he would be by in 15 - 20 minutes, which he was. He did the work efficiently and professionally. He was very personable, friendly, and professional. I couldn't ask for a better experience.

I really appreciated his timeliness. I called him in the morning explaining that the laundry line had overflowed and the bathtub was full of gray water. Although he already had work for the day, he was able to squeeze an appointment in for me. He thought at first that he may be able to fix it from the outside sewer connection without me being there. He was nice to offer to try that first before I would need to come home from work. As it happens there was not an outside connection to use. Dave was prompt in figuring out the issues in this 1950s home and cleared it up. In addition, he talked with me about coming up with a long term plan and discussed the root cause of the issue. He was professional and very helpful. I plan to continue to work him in the spring to solve the bigger issue with the drainage in the house.

Very good. He communicates well, explains the job and has a good price. I can't tell you how nice it was to have him here and for him to get this difficult job finished in good time. This is my new go-to guy for plumbing.

EXCELLENT AND PROMPT SERVICE! I called another service first and didn't get a call back immediately as sludge had come up in our shower. I needed service on a Sunday for this so I then called Renew based on the A grades indicated on Angie's List and the phone was answered; a quote was given to me for the call and hourly rate; and Dave came out within the hour. He only charged us for the call which saved us about $140.00. He also showed my husband where the water main valve was in the event the clog happened in the future. Would TOTALLY recommend him and will utilize his services in the future.

Dave and his son made time in their already busy schedule to come and dig out the housing and replace the valve and water shut off apparatus. Dave communicated well what needed to be done to fix the problem and was very thorough in doing the repair. Dave was cheerful and pleasant to be around even though it was cold and there was a lot of digging involved (no fun..) He honored the 10% discount for Angie's List members on service calls over $150.

It was the second time they were out in 3 months. They are very responsive and came out to my home in about 2 hours after calling. They understood the leak needed immediate attention. The technicians are very professional and I had no complaints on their work. Their pricing is more than fair and I would highly recommend them to others.

Couldn't find anything wrong with leaking. Went under the house. Discovered water there from excessive watering of lawn. Unrelated to other noise.

Responded quickly; understood my urgency and concern with the situation. Explained what he was doing and why he was doing it. Tolerated my hovering around him as he worked. Found the source of the problem quickly and resolved the issue. And all done on a Saturday morning, arriving at my home in less than 2 hours after contacting him. Will definitely use Renew Plumbing again.

We were coming from out of the area and were delayed for our appointment due to weather/road conditions. He was there on time and checked back later in the day on his own. We were very impressed with his follow up. He quickly diagnosed the lack of water problem and was able to promptly fix it. He also gave us several ideas on insulation. He was very professional, personable, and we would not hesitate to use him again in the future. OUTSTANDING SERVICE!

This was during Bend's freezing cold spell. We called a larger company and was told they couldn't come until the following week. We called Renew Plumbing and Dave said he was just headed out of town, but would stop on his way. He arrived in less than 20 minutes, spent possibly 45 minutes and rebuilt the guest room toilet. He said it appeared it was installed improperly and make shift parts were used. He was very professional, more than prompt, and very personable. We would definitely use him again. Highly recommend him!

Replaced leaking faucet in garage and replaced faucet cartridge in bath. Very efficient and friendly. Charged as quoted on phone, though he did a bit extra. | |He's now on my contact list for any time I need a plumber. | |Highly recommend.

Dave replaced a shallow water well pump as well as some broken (frozen) pvc plumbing going to the house. He was always keeping me in the loop as well as my tenant who was without water. This happened because the temperature reached -27 degrees. I couldn't find a water pump anywhere in and around Bend, but Dave had a "connection" who was able to provide me with the pump which Dave discounted for me. He worked in subzero weather while fitting me in with all of his other calls during this freeze. I live 3 hours from this rental home and it was reassuring to know that Dave was on it until it was completed. Thanks Dave. | |Mike |

He installed a toilet and put an expansion tank on my heater. Then I got a bill for $1000. When asked to itemize the bill, he refused saying that he did jobs "by the bid as this was industry standard". I asked him for an itemized list and receipts for the parts which he refused saying that this was private between him and his supplier. He did a nice job but way over-charged for the services and there was no transparency in his billing. If you use him, get a firm, signed bid or you will over-pay for the service. I will not use him again.
