Other computer repair people have done or tried to do similar "clean ups" in the past, but not nearly as effectively as Terren did! He is the MOST knowledgeable and competent person about both software and hardware that I have ever found, and I have worked with at least a dozen different repair professionals over the years. He really knows what I do and don't need, for example with all the anti-spyware that various people had installed in the past that was creating a problem, and about the various automatic updates from Windows that create problems for me. He is not only so competent and professional, he is also very friendly, personable, and accessible, unlike some other people who are either friendly but not all that competent or else professional but intimidating. I felt totally comfortable asking him all kinds of "dumb" questions, since I am not computer-savvy. As far as I'm concerned, he's a gold nugget!

We were very happy with the service. The contact could have been a little better. We had to call to see if it was done and find out the progress, but the finished product was better than before.

Integral. Honest. Accurate. Would recommend for professionals/business as well as personal. Used for both and walked away feeling confident that I had made the right choice. Will use again and recommend.

I had a laptop computer that wouldn t keep a charge, so it was now pretty much used strictly as a desktop defeating its whole purpose as a laptop. No mobility. I called My Mobile Computing Services Terren had previously given me his card to come and look at my computer. Terren quickly identified the problem I had replaced my lost power supply cord with an aftermarket one that didn t charge Dell laptops' batteries. Terren had an extra Dell power supply with him that he sold me. Problem fixed. While at my house, he noticed that my wireless modem did not have any protection and offered to fix it. I was willing but it had been 4 years since I had it set up and no longer knew where any of the passwords were. Not a problem for Terren. Within just a few minutes he had figured out the password (or reset it not sure) and set up the protections I needed. Since then, Terren has helped me via phone and remote access where he can pretty much takes control of your computer and fixed a couple of problems. Again, in just a matter of minutes. He is quick and efficient; very much a problem solver. He explains things in terms I can understand, which I really appreciated. He is easy to be around and I felt completely comfortable having him in my home. I have no reservations recommending My Mobile Computing Services. Just on a side note, I used another computer repair store in Bend this last spring when I couldn't get the My Music file on my computer to come up ie. iTunes. By the time I left the store, they had identified a bunch of problems I didn't know I had, in terms I didn't understand but convinced me it was critical to the life of my computer to have done and then tried to up sell me on stuff I didn't feel I needed. $500+ (that was mostly time cost) and without my computer for nearly a week, I felt robbed. I really wish I had known Terren at the time. He might have found the same problems, but I am confident based on my experience with My Mobile Computing Services, I would have understood what was needed and the cost and time without my computer would have been considerably less.

I showed Terren my broken computer, fully expecting him to tell me I needed to recycle it and get a new one. He took it apart, tweaked all sorts of things, added parts and removed them, plugging in wires all over the place. In less than 40 mins it was back to life, with all my photos intact, and they were all BACKED UP!! I could have cried.
