Very fast and professional service. What looked like a possible major issue was in fact a very simple fix. Once this was figured out they drastically reduced the estimate and charged a very fair price for the work. A couple reviews commented on cost.....well professionals cost money

The service was great. Alan arrived exactly at the scheduled time, worked quickly and professionally to repair a problem I could not fix myself. He explained everything he was going to do and quoted the exact price the repair was going to cost in advance. He was extremely friendly and considerate while working in and under our home. I would definitely recommend this service and use it myself again in the future.

They do fine work but their service prices are outrageous! I just needed a small section of my kitchen sink p-trap pipe replaced. The coupling had cracked. Unfortunately I couldn't find the right fit (threads didn't match up) at any hardware store so I called Mr Rooter. I was quoted $248 to replace/install the part. This is a ridiculously easy part to put in. Just 2 connectors that you could screw in in less than 2 minutes. The piece I was looking for, if it would have fit was only $6. When I asked the technician why it was so expensive, he replied That's just what it says in the book. For less than a 5 minute job! Turns out he didn't have the right fit either so he had to cut the existing pipe and glue a replacement piece with the correct threading on which cost me $386. The clog I was trying to clear was still there after he replaced everything so he had to root the pipe which brought my bill to almost $500. The sink is fine now but I feel $500 is at least triple or more the cost it should have been. If i had time i would have done it myself but was on a time crunch because I had company coming over that evening. Lesson learned.

Both the communication and service was outstanding. Moreover, the speed at which the technician repaired the problem was outstanding. However, the price for the service was high.

Calls answered or returned promptly. Response timely. Plumber's estimate was reasonable and job was started and finished on time and was slightly under estimate. The Journeyman plumber took extra measures to protect the sod and scrub he had to remove and replant in order to effect repairs to an underground defective valve. Also, he was polite, friendly and hard working. I highly recommend Mr. Rooter Plumbing. My thanks to both Alan for the excellent job he did and to Cambria in the office for her timely updates.
