I have used Mountain View several times and they're very good, quick, responsive and professional.

Requested and paid for annual maintenance on two warehouse heaters. Report says both heaters performing perfectly. Two days after being serviced, one heater failed, so called for help. They say that heater now has a broken ignition board that needs to be replaced. I say ok, but will you at least credit me for the cost of the maintenance trip for that heater that was clearly wrong. NO! Pleaded twice with them. Was told to forget it. That was my experience. Went with a new vendor and am glad I did.

Started well became disappointing. When I booked the appointment I was told it would be a certain price for servicing as I could not get the fireplace to light. They came on time and quickly found and rectified the problem which cost nothing to fix. At that point I was extremely happy with the service call and they immediately began servicing the fireplace without saying anything. When it came time to pay the bill it was significantly higher than originally quoted. I paid without questioning. Also, I had asked the tech to put a service sticker on the fireplace. He said it was too big for the fireplace, but would put it on the furnace. When I looked he had placed his sticker on the furnace and also taken an extra sticker which covered the existing service sticker. At that time I processed that what I was charged more than I was quoted. I called and ask to speak to the service manager. She called back the next day and was very helpful and understanding and reduced the charge to the quoted price. However, she said that she had spoken to the tech and he told her that he had explained that the servicing was going to be an addition charge. Unfortunately, that is not the truth. He just started the servicing without warning of additional cost. We had just cleaned the glass in the process of trying to get the fireplace to work and I told him such. He replied that cleaning the glass was all part of the servicing. The service manager did the right thing; however, the fact that the service tech lied to her when asked if he had explained to me the higher cost than I was quoted and the fact he covered the information on my furnace for the company who has serviced the unit for 10 years, I find unacceptable. The tech's actions turned out what started as a very favorable experience into a negative one.

The guy was very professional, he's been doing this for years. He even helped my husband understand how frequently to install the filter, helped us reinstall the humidifier.

WOW !!! What a great experience from the comfort adviser ( Cole ) and the installers, I wish I could remember their names, Sorry Guys !!. They called and asked if they could start the work a day early, witch worked out great.. Very professional On time treated my home with great care. I would recommend and have to my friends and neighbors.

Mountain View Heating Inc. installed a complete heat pump system in my home. All of the employees I dealt with were very friendly and the installation was very neat. The system had a slight problem with condensation drainage, however they came back and corrected it. The system works very good and I am happy with it. Mountain View was very helpful with the rebates too.

I don’t often write reviews, but I signed up for Angie’s List because I needed a new furnace and, since it is such a big investment, I wanted to do my research before I chose an HVAC company. Let me start by saying that I’ve been using Mt. View Heating for years for my furnace maintenance and I’ve always been happy with their service and professionalism. So when it was time to get a new furnace I called them first. I also got bids from another company, but I ultimately went with Mt. View because I truly believe that you get what you pay for. I’m SO glad I went with Mt. View. I just can’t say enough about how responsive and professional they were through the entire process. No one ever tried to “sell” me on anything I didn’t want or need. They took care of all of the rebates, tax credits, warranty registrations, permits etc. and were patient through the endless questions that I had before and after the installation. I can only speak to my own experience, but I have to say that Mt. View Heating is truly one of the best contracting companies I have EVER worked with.

Received several quotes to upgrade the 7 yr Trane A/C system that was installed when house was built. 2nd fl wasn't being cooled adequately.Original contractor proposed minor enhancements at 1/4 the price of other proposals. Other firms said it wouldn't work so we went with one of them - Mtn View.They replaced the outside condenser with a 2-stage Lenox unit and replaced the coil inside the garage. They were very meticulous, courteous, punctual and professional. We were very pleased with their performance.Then it got hot and we were worse off than before. The coil was icing up and wasn't cooling down either floor. Mtn. View found a valve had failed which they replaced. The unit iced up again the next day.They came out immediately and made all types of adjustments per Lenox instructions. They suspected the new coil was bad but followed the advice of Lenox. It failed again.The next day they replaced the coil (which they fortunately had in stock) and everything works beautifully now, While our overall experience wasn't very good we really can't blame Mtn View. They were very responsive.

I've been using their services for three years. They're very efficient and professional. I was very satisfied with what they had done. Their prices and quality of work were excellent. I'll continue to use their services in the future.

They do a great job with follow up and they let us know when it is time for maintenance on our system. They are reasonably priced and I think they are doing a good job for us. We will continue to use their services in the future for our system. We have been using them for the past 5 years and will continue to use them in the future.

They were pretty punctual. I wanted to make sure that I got everything done before winter and it's my first winter out here. I wanted to make sure that everything was okay. They were really good. The price was pretty competitive with everybody else. The quality of work was great. I would definitely use them again in the future.

They called 15 minutes before the tech came out which was nice. I feel $119 is a bit high for someone just to come out and blow an air compressor into your furnace to clean out some dust and tell you everything is working okay but I didn't call anywhere else to compare prices beforehand. The service tech that came out was very professional and was very respectful of my home. Overall a good experience.

We had a few company's with good standing in the community come over for estimates. Mountain View Heating Inc. not only had the best estimate but, the most professional and knowledgeable staff. We decided on a unit and they were in to install the next day! These guys truly love what they do for a living and appreciate the business. They were always courteous and well mannered making sure they didn't track the outside in. They were done in a matter of hours. Down the road we had a problem with some old electronics that were the controls for just our heater before we hooked up the A/C. They sent someone out within an hour of our call to come and fix the problem and we haven't had any problems since. The service didn't cost us a penny and they honored there 100% satisfaction guarantee. Now we enjoy the short summer of Central Oregon even more than before we got central air. It's nice to come home to a cool house after a bike ride or hike.

There was nothing that they did was above and beyond. I ended up having to have somebody else come out to fulfill a recommendation this guy gave us for filters. So I had to have two meetings with them than sending one person out who could do everything at once. They were responsive. I would probably use their services again.

Salesperson was excellent, followed the job thru to make sure I was satisfied with instillation. Scott was personable and honest with contract.
