Had to call several times to find out if they were done, if the work was inspected, could we get something in writing from county stating so... | |I finaly got ahold of owner an told him of our needs and that there were some unfinished items to discuss. He came right out and agreed to them and the final work was done immediately. It still took some time to get final billing so that we could know how much to pay them.

They were very professional, very friendly, and very helpful.

Though delayed one day by the permitting process, excavation started and proceeded as outlined. The project took longer and was more expensive than estimated because of extensive rock work required by lava intrusions into part of the sewer's course. That rock work was specifically excluded from the original estimate and increased the final bill by about 50% of the estimate. The actual work was superb -the person in charge at the work site was not only talented in excavation but also in communication and attitude. Supervisors made timely visits; inspections were well-coordinated; and the work was completed in a timely and professional manner. There were several other things that made a difference - there was considerable attention given to ensuring the safety of workers and passersby; consideration was given to those impacted by excavation in a public ally; i.e. even though they had a permit allowing closure, they tried to keep an avenue for traffic; the company honored its employees - one had a medical problem that produced symptoms which precluded his finishing the day - manpower was adjusted without any hesitation; and finally, there was a wonderful attention to detail - clearing the area after each work day, taking extra care to avoid damage to yards, making asphalt cuts clean instead of ragged, and having a person come back to sweep up any dirt remaining after soils/crushed rock were removed. I greatly appreciated their approach.
