 + -1 moreLousy !!! The first contact went great. Home Depot sales rep was on time and professional very pleased It all goes down hill from there. Installers from Washington , I don't no how they do things over there, but this is totally unacceptable. Home Depot should be ashamed of themselves for even association them selves with clowns like this. They damaged several plants and shrubs in the front yard, Damaged my wood trim inside and out. Tracked dirt on my new carpet. I had installed the weekend before. Jumping in and out of my house like apes, threw the window openings. I had to spend a weekend resetting nail heads and repainting inside and out. I mean these clowns had foot prints all over the walls exterior and interior. Very unprofessional they spent a great deal of time arguing on the phone with someone, extremely loud' in my front yard my neighbors sure as h*** didn't like it. I should have pounced them out on their buts Home Depot has responded and they tried to make it right. They gave us a 150.00 gift card. You be the judge.
Description of Work: Replace all the windows in the house.

Description of Work: We had our carpeting replaced in living room and hallway. The carpet itself is what we expected for the price and the living room looks fine but the seam in the hallway is obvious. Home Depot contracts out for their carpet layers.

Description of Work: Home Depot rep. came out and measured our home for and installed carpet. Coordination with the in-store carpet specialists, and service from the measurer and the installer were excellent. Everyone was cheerful, professional and knowledgable. Most of all they were flexible and honest about scheduling and logistics.

 + -1 moreI ordered on-line through their web-site to have the items picked up at the store. I was notified rather quickly by e-mail that the order was placed and ready for pick-up. When I went to the store, they couldn't find the items that were pulled. Someone said they say the basket with the items I was looking for but they couldn't find the basket. So I had to wait while they refilled the order and then when I was leaving to check out, an associate came up to me and noticed I had in my basket that he had pulled and said they were over in this other area. The store operates very inefficiently and I hate dealing with them because it's always something. I live in The Dalles, OR.
Description of Work: Ordered for a store pick-up and when I was notified that the items were in we went to pick them up. When we got there no one knew where the order was. I had to wait at the customer service desk to have them refill the order. Then after being there for what seemed like an hour and then when I was checking out, someone comes up to me (an associate) who notices that I have the same items in my basket that he pulled, and said he had it over by the contractors area! So needless to say, I wasted a whole bunch of time on something that was to save me time. I hate dealing with Home Depot because it's always something. They try to act nice but they are always or their manufacturers (as in windows) are messed up, inefficient and the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Do order from them though because I live in a small town and they offer a great deal other hardware and remodeling stores don't in our area and their prices are pretty competitive.

 + -1 moreThe price included a person to come out and measure the windows and installation. I also got an upgrade to a cordless system. I was very impressed as I wasn't expecting this type of service from Home Depot. I would use them again but not for the main house as I would be looking for a higher quality brand than Home Depot carries.
