+ -1 moreWarning! Deschutes Heating does not guarantee their work. I had them install a brand new $5000 Goodman/Amana heat pump and it failed in less than 6 months. The Goodman warranty will cover the cost of a new pump but Deschutes wants another $1000 for labor to replace it. I called 3 other HVAC companies in the area to compare warranties. They vary but the minimum was 1 year on labor plus the manufacturers parts warranty. A week after advising Deschutes Heating that I would publish the above they eventually felt enough shame to warranty their labor and replaced the heat pump in January 23 at no charge. Here we are Jan 24 and the pump is not working again. Deschutes refused to make a service call to investigate the new problem. Steer clear of these guys. There are plenty of other choices in central Oregon.

Technician arrived earlier than expected and was very courteous, friendly and very knowledgeable.. The new unit was installed in hours. Our garage was left clean and debris free. Excellent service from the technician as well from the office staff. My hat is off to a great job by a very professional company.
