The estimator missed our initial appointment, but called me later to apologize and reschedule. They were, however, very prompt with their estimate, delivering it to our house when they said they would. De Colores was selected because we were able to see several other jobs they had completed in our neighborhood for both new house builders and another house that was about 9 years old (like our house). In addition, their price was within the competitive range of other bidders. We had our house painted because the original paint on the hardie plank had faded and some of the trim was flaking off. A few days before painting, they pressure washed the entire house and let it dry over the weekend. Then on Monday morning, about 5-6 workers showed up to prepare the house for painting by masking, taping, etc. A substantial part of the hardie plank siding was painted by that afternoon. Rain the next day forced a one-day delay. (They did not attempt to work when it rained.) Taking the rain delay into account, they finished the work within the time estimated. The paint was applied very professionally and my house looks like it did when it was new.
