I had an appointment with Chem-Dry to clean a pet accident on my carpet. The carpet NEEDED to be cleaned that day because we were to host a childcare group the following day. They were to arrive at my house "between 5 & 6 pm." At 3:40pm on the appointed day, while both my husband and I were at work and in meetings, they called to say they were on their way to our house - 1-1/2 hours early. While I understand they may have thought that arriving early was showing good service, we were unavailable at the time and unable to rush home to meet them. The message said he was "able to hang around until about 5:00". Keep in mind, our appointment was scheduled between 5 & 6 pm. My husband - not knowing they had arrived early, left work early at 4:15 to pick up our children and then raced home to meet the carpet cleaners for our appointment time. He arrived home at 5:08pm and the guy had already left. When I called Chem-Dry at 5:35 pm to ask why they were not there at the agreed upon time, the woman said they had to move the time up because they guy had to make a previously scheduled appointment. I replied that I was their previously scheduled appointment. She suggested they could come at 7:00 the next morning. That is not ideal as I would need to wake my whole family up before they normally do (any parent will know that is not a good ideal for a 2 & 4 year old). It would be better if they could come that night. She said "Ok. We'll see you at 7." To me, that means I'll see you at 7pm. 7pm came and went with no show from Chem-Dry. At this point I had to send my husband out to buy some carpet deodorizer because we have to do SOMETHING. The carpet stinks and 6 kids are showing up at 8:30 in the morning and it's now too late to for all the families to find alternate childcare. Perhaps I misunderstood and they would be here at 7am. Better than nothing even though the carpet will still be wet when the kids all arrive. They never showed at all and never called to say anything. If the tables were turned and I had called them at the last minute to say, "actually, I'm going to need you to arrive an hour and a half earlier than we agreed, I'm sure they would have said no. We all have schedules which cannot usually be rearranged on a moment's notice. The moral of the story is: NEVER USE CHEM-DRY OF CENTRAL OREGON. P.S. Naturally Clean has cleaned our carpets multiple times and done a beautiful job. And they always show up. I'll be calling them from now on.

They did very well. They developed a new system before they used a chemical and pad but now they have a machine that sucks dirt from the carpet. It worked very well. I have very thick carpets so they did a very good job. When they leave it looks good. They were very courteous. I've used them for years.

The young man moved two end tables out of the living room and he moved the chairs, couch and beds to clean the carpet under them. The carpet looks great... all spots came out. He even removed a large spot on my sofa for no extra cost.

We have used Chem Dry in Bend for many years, Roger and his crew always do a top notch job and show great care and attention to detail and are very professional and courteous.(and our carpet always looks great when they are done) I recommend them highly
