I have quite a large home, and was happy to get a reasonable price for the job I was contracting out. Other bids came in at at least a 1,000.00 more than what I contracted Pine Desert Painting for. I was a bit concerned about the lower bid, thinking the work wouldn't be done as well as other contractors. But found, that Mr. Harris took great pride in his work. He did not, overlap my home project with others, resulting in a very prompt finish to the work that needed to be done. Very happy with the results.
Description of Work: I had a repaint of my home, and refurbishing of decks. Brad Harris, of Pine Desert Painting, was very professional, prompt, and paid meticulous attention to detail. I would highly recommend this painting company to anyone looking for high quality work.

The painter started off by arguing that the color was not a good choice. He said he did not like the color as it was not enough contrast with what was on the walls already and therefore was not excited to do the job. After finishing the job, I had to point out many spots that he had missed. He came back and painted those spots but did not do everything, for example he even left unpainted the wall behind the pedestal of the sink in the powder room. There were a number of these types of examples. When I enquired why he couldn't see those spots without me pointing them out he claimed he had "something wrong" with his eyesight. And was concerned because he did not have insurance. I ran into him some months later and enquired how his eyesight was, as I was concerned for him since his livlihioood was at risk. He claimed to not know what I was talking about. I found this to be very disturbing as the only explanation I could come up with was that he had lied to me about the "eye problems". Finally, when it was time to pay him, I could not find the bill and I overpaid him by two-hundred dollars. A few minutes later, I found the bill and called him up and told him I had over paid him, he acted as though he had no idea. He did eventually return the two-hundred dollars, so that was good. All in all, nice guy on the surface but I wouldn't hire him or trust him.
Description of Work: Painted the entire interior walls of the dowstairs.
