Our neighbor recommended Adin Hess, the owner (and sole worker) of Artisan Tile. Adin had done a large tile job at our neighbor's house and he was extremely pleased. We found Adin to be prompt and an excellent craftsman and were very happy with the job he did for us.

Beyond the tile work for our countertops and backsplash, Aidin served as a general contractor. He met with us four weeks prior to the job, going over everything we anticipated having done, providing explanations where necessary. He drew up a contract and was true to the contract. When the tear out crew was unable to show up as scheduled, Aidin did the tear out himself. He partitioned the worksite off so that dust would not be everywhere. Aidin kept to the timeframe established and had the other crews coming in as it was necessary. Aidin was responsive to adjustments which needed to be made and was clear in his communication in terms of costs, quality, practicality and artistic design. When we ran into unexpected issues, Aidin helped to effectively resolve them. Aidin offers integrity and professionalism in his work, doing the job as he would want it to be done for him. We would recommend him without reservations.

It went very well. Adin was here every day. He always let me know If he was stopping for supplies and was a few minutes later. He coordinated the plumber, electrician and the counter top people. The counter top was done by a separate company. Adin was here everyday and stayed all day. Very hard worker. He is pleasant, considerate and keeps everything as neat and clean as possible. He also gave me great ideas and has a great eye for detail. I wish I could include a picture of both rooms for you to see. Everything was well coordinated so all the work was in sequence. Adin arrived to do a quick quote - review the job, made some great recommendations for improvements, and also helped select the tile that would work best in the space. I was really impressed with his work. Additionally at the same time some floor work was being done. When Adin left the flooring gentleman said "That Adin does really good work! We call him in sometimes when we can't source with our team." Now that really sealed the deal for me. Adin called back with the quote for both my original job and his recommended approach. Unfortunately I couldn't invest in the more recommended approach and had to stick just with the backsplash. Rather than turn away such a small job, Adin squeezed me into his already booked week to accommodate my schedule. The backsplash is beautiful and he did it in a way that I can grow into the recommended plan down the road. I would highly recommend Adin and Artisan Tile for your job.

The jobs went perfectly. The only delay we experienced was with the county's inspector, we had to wait for some more tile because of a change WE made and the cabinet maker. Adin was able to continue to work around these delays. Adin also coordinated with all the other craftsman when a delay occured so we didn't have to.

Adin is very professional and personable. He arrived on time or a little early. If Adin was going to be late he would text us the night before if he had not already told us. He was neat and always left the house in tip top condition. Adin as a great eye for design and gave us several suggestions that we used and were very pleased that we listened to him. His work is excellent, he is meticulous in everything he does. If he doesn't like the way something looks he changes it right away. There was one stone in our fireplace that we just didn't like and Adin changed it for us, even though it was 24 hours later. We felt very fortunate to have had Color Tile recommend such an excellent company. Our dog even got along with Adin which is amazing. In addition Adin's assistant Tommy had the same superior work ethic as Adin, was on time, professional and friendly. We enjoyed having Adin come to our house almost every week day for more than a month. I will miss his smiling face, positive energy and great stories about his youngest son Desi. We were returning from Las Vegas to make a rental into a home. I had pictures and ideas on what I wanted in way of a look for the house. Adin was able to take them and make it all a reality. The idea I had for the face of the fireplace, he told me I wouldn't like it. Then suggested the slate. It was exactly the look. He has the best price out of 3 that I had and I couldn't be happier with the results. I will be recommending him every chance I get.

The project went very well. Adin and Tom were extremely professional, polite, pleasant, and quiet (as much as one can be doing this type of work anyway). They showed up on time and worked very diligently while at our home and got the job done quickly and beautifully. They were meticulous in their artistry. They were careful to clean up at the end of each day, staying very neat and organized. When there were little problems (and there weren't many), they were pleasant about it, and quick to make adjustments so that I would be happy. They had excellent ideas to solve problems (like plumbing and framing issues). Adin (the owner), had great ideas on how to lay everything out so it made sense and had nice impact. He had the idea to run the deco tile in the shower vertically for a more modern look and I love it ! He also had the idea of making the floor of the shower flow into the room like a riverbed. It is so cool, and gives the space a "wow factor." I am extremely happy with the finished product and couldn't be happier with Artisan Tile. I would highly recommend this contractor. Even if you have to wait for Adin because he has other jobs lined up before he can get to yours, it's so worth the wait !!!
