The project took over twice as long to complete as estimated, partially due to Andrew over-extending himself by taking on other projects at the same time. He hired sub-contractors to do some of the work, resulting in inconsistent quality. The bid was for 5 1/2" boards, but Andrew put up 6 3/4" boards instead without consulting us first (said the narrower boards were unavailable). The quality of installation did not meet our expectations (sloppy), we had to insist on having new Tyvek applied over the old (in original bid), caulking was sloppy, the job site was messy the entire time, and a few items of work promised were not done.
Description of Work: Removal of exterior house siding, installation of fiber-cement (HardiePlank) lap siding; reconstruction of privacy fence; replacement of trim board around garage door.
