Jason the Owner supervised the loading and unloading and also drove the truck. The Crew was very professional and did an excellent job in preparing the furniture. I would highly recommend American Moving and storage for a move of any kind.

Description of Work: Two men loaded up the 26' U-haul truck. The entire house was packed up and boxed and moved into the garage, all they had to do was put it in the truck.

Description of Work: I attempted to contact them through sending them a message via your web site, but they failed to contact me in a timely manner. I was in a hurry to move within a couple of weeks, so after a week of waiting for them to contact me --- I contacted them directly by phone. Everything went very, very well from then on. They were punctual, polite, respectful, and careful. I would definitely use them again. I was very happy with their overall service.

Description of Work: Jason took my call and was very friendly, professional, and efficient. He arranged to have a three-man crew available on the day I needed to move into my house in Bend after a cross country relocation, and he clearly explained all the charges involved. | |On the appointed day, Jeff, Chris, and Cameron emptied a VERY FULL trailer of 1800 cu ft of cargo (mainly boxes) into our new home in about 5 and a half hours. They deftly maneuvered heavy furniture and a bed frame up flights of stairs. They also helped assemble the bed. They were very friendly, diligent, and professional. I would heartily recommend American Moving and Storage and I would definitely use their services again. |

+ -1 moreMike and Bret are very professional, personable, and easy to work with. They kept saying in a very nice way "you are the boss" when I asked if they could move odd shaped items. They handled my antique furniture as if it was their own and carefully wrapped everything. I had no damage at all. I highly recommend this company and Mike and Bret are the BEST.

They both knew how to move all kinds of furniture, wrap it securely and maneuver around curves, up stairs and through doorways. These guys could not have been more professional and pleasant. Not one thing dented or broken. Not one!!!! I chose this company because 2 friends used them and were pleased and now there are 3 happy customers.

+ -1 moreAll the workers, including the owner, were polite and professional. The packers worked hard and wrapped everything up very well. I feel like my things will arrive at my final destination in good shape. I was surprised at the weight he quoted me, I have no way of verifying whether it was an accurate weight. I just have to take his word for it. The owner told me that the movers would be here at 8 AM, but they did not arrive until about 8:45. He also said they would only need to be at the house for about a half-hour, which seemed unrealistic to me, given the amount of things that needed to be shipped. The packers took a reasonable 3-4 hours to pack up my things.
Description of Work: I hired them to pack half my household goods and move them out of state.

+ -1 moreThe truck arrived on time with two men who set to work quickly and called in a third a couple of hours later to help get the job done. This place was bedlam -- two families moving in two directions simultaneously -- and they managed to keep my things separate from my daughter's. They were tidy, good-humored and careful with my possessions. The job was difficult because the new home has narrow hallways, but they moved things in quickly and carefully.
