ADVANCED PAINTING

We paid a lot to paint our house and detached shop building about six years ago, It did not hold up as expected. We located and chose Advanced Painting (owner Steve Richardson) because of his positive review comments. Steve was very responsive to our inquiries and met with us prior to submitting a proposal. Steve called several days ahead of the start date, explained how he would sequence the job, and coordinated with our schedule. That ease of communication and willingness to meet and discuss the project created a confidence that is not easily found in other contractors. The existing paint was in bad shape, flaking badly. Steve dealt with this problem by upgrading to a sealing pre-primer to extend the life of the new paint. After priming the entire house, Steve applied two coats by brush. I have never had a painting contractor display that level of care and workmanship. Steve was consistently prompt, courteous, efficient and knowledgeable. He worked long, hard days and finished the job earlier than projected. It was a beautiful job. Thank you, Steve.

We were looking to have the interior of our Sunriver house painted. We’re not from the area, so with a search of the Internet, we found Advance Painting out of Bend, Oregon owned by Steve Richardson. His excellent reviews prompted us to send him an email. Steve responded within a few minutes and we set a time to meet up to look at the house. We wanted the complete inside painted, including the garage and recoating a sealant on the deck. Steve was very straightforward and gave us a bid for doing the job that was midrange with others. What convinced us was that he always paints two coats on homes. Steve was on time and got the job done exactly as he said he would. The house looks great. He did a real professional job, was very clean and took care of all the imperfections in the walls. Steve was on the jobsite himself and that was reassuring to me that it was being done right. He completed the job on time. Our house has all wood windows frames, wood doors and cabinets. In addition, Steve agreed to refinish all the wood. He did a phenomenal job in restoring our house and cleaned it all up to a new look condition. Thanks Steve! I highly recommend Advance Painting to anyone who needs a painter. He was great to work with and did an excellent job. We are definitely glad we chose him and his company.

I moved to a somewhat older home that needed some painting done. The paint was over 10 years old and was quite weathered and chipped. I had used the services of Advanced Painting on my previous home and knew that they did excellent work for a reasonable price. The color of this house was ugly, the wood accents including the deck were faded and discolored, and the metal doors needed help. I chose new colors and Advanced Painting chose the type of paint and stain that would last. The preparation and painting was done and I was amazed that the wood accents and decking came back to looking like new. The painters made sure that my property was respected. I also had them paint an interior wall which the color they used matched the other existing walls exactly. My house looks like new now. I am again very happy with the work done by Advanced Painting and would highly recommend them.

I was in the process of fixing my house up when I decided to have the outside painted, most of it looked fine but there were some areas that needed patched or nailed down, the paint had faded and chipped in places. I contacted Advanced Painting after seeing the name on angieslist.com and was pleased with the telephone conversation that followed. My questions were answered, an appointment was scheduled. At the initial appointment, the work to be done was explained to me and a quote was given for the work. Advanced Painting?s knowledge and attention to detail have really made a difference in the way my home looks. The area around my home was well taken care of during the painting, After the job was finished the clean-up was done, my house looks wonderful. I am very happy with the work that was done in a timely and professional manner. Pride in workmanship, punctuality, and a desire to please are what I witnessed with the job that was done on time. I give Advanced painting a well deserved five star rating! Advanced Painting was thorough, easy to work with, and was willing to take the time to discuss my concerns and respond to questions. The price was competitive with other painters in our city. I will hire them again when I need any painting done.

The exterior of our new (to us) home had been neglected for several years and was in very poor shape. A big job, but Steve did an excellent job of prepping (power washing and stripping) and staining the exterior. We were very pleased with his work on the interior of our home as well. He was always on time - if not early - and kept us informed of his progress and what to expect. Steve is one of the best painting contractors we have ever used. He is hard-working, honest and very knowledgeable. We will definitely be hiring Steve again to do some additional interior work and when it is time to re-stain the exterior.

Compared to other painters I RFQ'd Steve really came through from start to finish!
