Description of Work: Contractor did extensive pruning of trees and shrubs, as well chipping the debris produced for composting use. He also provided me with additional chipped material for composting for free. | |Job went extremely well. Contractor personnel were very hardworking and professional in completing the work. Best contractor I have seen for post work clean up; left no litter behind. I have used this contractor twice and plan to use him again. Highest recommendation!

Description of Work: My neighbor's tree blew down into my yard. I called Marc and he came right over and checked things out and said he would be back in the afternoon with a helper and cut up the tree and remove it. Which he did. Cleaned up the debris and checked for damage to my roof. I have used Westside for several years and always been happy with their service.

Description of Work: the work consisted of pruning three eucalyptus trees and chipping a large amount of woody debris. I was concerned about responsiveness for the work as I did not hear from Mark for a longer period of time than I would've expected. However, he had an operation on his hand that prevented him from doing work and had to recover before he could schedule the work I have form. Once the date was set the work went extremely well and I was very pleased with the result, especially when he directed his work crew to do additional work to pile up some chipped material that I had not asked for in do. He expertly pruned the three trees very efficiently and correctly and completed the work to my satisfaction earlier than expected. Mark approaches his work very conscientiously and I give him my highest recommendation for anyone who has work of a similar nature.

Description of Work: I contacted this company for a tree bid via email. My only response back was "I am super busy this week. Can you try someone else" - that was received at 6:50 pm. The next day, at 7:33 am, I received an email "I could bid it today and try to fit it in this week". I emailed back and said that would be great and gave my cell number and advised to call me anytime . However, I didn't get a phone call or a bid. When I asked the next morning, the response I received back was to "go elsewhere, we are swamped". I have no problem with someone being unable to bid a job. However, this was very poor communication that could have easily been avoided with some professionalism.

Description of Work: Trimmed approx 8 dead limbs off two large Doug Fir trees 30-40 ft. up trunk; trimmed two limbs on Maple tree; removed maple vines from tree; cut up some limbs for firewood; cleaned up

Description of Work: Requested a quote to reduce height of an Arborvitae hedge to 8 ft from ground. Appointment was set for Fri. 6/17/11, 3 - 4 pm, to come out to view the work to be done and submit a bid. Approximately 3:30 pm, 6/17/11, I received a call from a gentleman stating he was running late. He asked me the length of the hedge. He said he was heading for an appointment in Tualatin, I live in Hillsboro, and he would not be able to make it on time. I told him I would be home all the rest of the afternoon and evening, that it would be OK to come anytime. No one showed up nor have I heard back from anyone from Westside Tree since the call on 6/17/11.

Description of Work: There was no work performed because I could never get anyone to return my call or my email. I guess my business isn't important enough. I wish I didn't need money as badly as he doesn't.
