The job was done cleanly and surprisingly fast! Mark was very responsive on everything from the call back for the estimate to the call back to actually schedule and was prompt showing up on time on the day the work was performed. The crew worked steady for over 3 hours and cleaned up the area when they were finished. They also left some nice firewood stacked after cutting up the larger branches. Completely satisfied with this company and would highly recommend them to anyone.

I got 3 bids, and although Mark was not the cheapest, he presented the best value and coverage for the cost, advising on the state of the Maples as well as providing a breakdown of the work - the large Maple constituted 1/3 of the overall cost. Work was delayed a couple of tiimes because of weather, but that was no problem this early in the year. Mark came with 2 other guys, starting at 9am one day, and completing the work by lunchtime the following day. They were here for ~10 hours in total. Their work on the large Maples was very good, climbing well up into the canopy area to clear the deadwood and thinning. I was impressed that large limbs were tied and lowered to the ground as opposed to just being dropped - which could have done major damage to the fence. They cleaned up very well, including visiting the neighbor's house to clear up depris that had fallen on their side. Mark and he crew know what they're doing and I would recommend them for large tree maintenance work.

They were awesome. They were very knowledgeable. I have cut down many trees myself and I have had some incompetent people cut trees for me and compared to them they were very professional and they did a great job. When they came to give the quote they were very busy. When they came they finished the work in a day. The crew was great, and they were competent. They displayed their competence while they were doing the job. They were safe and made sure the tree did not fall on my house.

This was a very good experience. Mark got back to me promptly after my call, and came over to give me an estimate the next day; we agreed to a work date the following week. He arrived right on time with two pleasant and hard-working employees, and they got right to work. They did a great job on my overgrown trees and shrubs. Mark respected my concerns about my beloved Japanese maple, and trimmed the tree beautifully. When they were finished, they chipped and cleaned up everything - including some branches I had cut and left on the ground! My yard looks better than it has in years.

I called for an estimate and Mark came out the next day to provide it. We agreed on a convenient time the next week to do the work. Mark and two assistants showed up on time, did the pruning and cleaned up the debris. The thinned down tree looks much better and is now ready for the growing season.

The crew did a great job. I am happy with the shape of the tree and they did a nice job cleaning up when they were done.

All went as requested. They arrived as scheduled, work was completed promptly and efficiently. Price was better than a previous estimate we had received.

They gave me a 5% discount I had no complaints whatsoever. They cleaned up. When they drove off, everything was clean and in great condition.

Very responsive to request for estimate. Estimate was clear and precise. Arrived exactly on time to do job, with complete crew and equipment. After confirming exactly what we wanted, proceeded very quickly to complete the job, making sure we were consulted about any questions including which limbs to trim. Crew took care to locate and avoid an irrigation line close to the birch tree that I pointed out to them, Completed job faster than estimated and left property clean.

Mark the owner was on the job working the whole time. Very professional and did anything extra that was asked. My husband who can find fault with anyone's work said they did an excellent job. I had branches hanging over a glass greenhouse and they were very careful in taking down the huge branches hanging over it. The cleanup was thorough and they worked fast. They cut up and stacked all the firewood. I had four bids off Angie's List and Mark had the best bid. He is definitely our "tree guy".

Mark came out to give us a bid on the job. On the scheduled day and time Mark showed up with his crew and worked with his crew the entire time. They did what we had discussed, as well as a few other things we requested, and charged us what he had quoted us originally. We were very impressed with Mark's knowledge, his easy-going manner, and with the job he and his crew did. We will definitely hire him in the future.

They were in and out very quickly and left everything looking great. I plan to use them again.

Mark and his team did a great job trimming our 2 very tall trees and getting it down to a size that we liked. They were punctual, finished the job ahead of schedule and cleaned up very well. The price was also very fair. Thank you.

I am a repeat customer to Westside Tree, and I am a completely satisified customer for the second time. I contacted Westside via e-mail. They responded within hours. They came to review the work and give an estimate the next day and performed the work within two days after that. Very thorough clean-up; not a trace left in the yard that they had been there except for expertly trimmed and shaped trees. Seems a little expensive, but that may just be my inexperience in what tree service costs.

The top portion of the tree had a hole in it where a limb had fallen and appeared to be dead. (It was). The work could not be performed on the original day scheduled due to high winds so we had to reschedule. The tree was cut down and the brush chipped. The tree was cut into firewood length rounds. These rounds were left on the lawn. I thought the Westside was going to move them off the lawn, but don't remember if we specifically discussed that. I have a small tree next to the cedar that was a bit in the way and Mike wasn't sure if it would be damaged. The crew managed to avoid this little tree. All in all a good experience.

Mark and crew arrived right on time. They did a fantastice job on both the trimming/thining of the trees and the clean up.

I'm delighted. And I must say that I am not always easy to please. I had contacted a couple of other tree services and was very unimpressed with the other guys. I have entered more negative reports than positive reports in Angie's List over the years (some very negative). So, the contrast is striking. With Mark, the price was right, the work was done right, customer communication was done right. I couldn't be happier. If anyone asks me about tree service, I know where I'm going to send them.

Very pleased with this company. Got a response very quickly when I originally contacted company. They were quick to come by, take a look and prepare a quote. Very friendly & knowledgable folks, knew about all the different trees in the yard, how to identify a healthy tree, how to service the trees in question, etc. I would hire them again without hesitation. They were great. They did a good job and they didn't hit the neighbors' house or anything. They did everything that we asked and they did it well. They cleaned up. They were here when they said they were going to be. They were by far the best price.

Mark responded to my email the same day I wrote to him and I think he came by the next day or so to discuss what needed to be cut. They did a great job for us and our neighbor and we are very satisfied. Our trees only cost $320 and so we were glad to pay for our neighbor's tree as well as a gift while he's ill and out of work. Our neighbors are also extremely pleased with the work.

They were wonderful. I called them and they were out within 24 hours to give me an estimate. I had received other competitive bids. They were, by far, the lowest. They came the very next day to do the work.

Did a great job. Showed up on time, finished when promised. Very impressed with the skill level - the shaped trees look great! Clean up was completed impeccably. All first class equipment. Nice folks, polite and professional. Great experience - I highly recommend them.

Mark answered all of my questions, we agreed on what work was needed, and he gave me a written quote on the spot. He also told me he had an opening later that week and would hold the spot open for 24 hours so I could talk it over with my wife. The crew arrived on time and were quite impressive to watch as they made quick work of a big job. I was especially impressed by the crew member working high up in a large, twisty willow tree as he roped up sections and the crew carefully lowered the pieces. The tree was next to my fence and overhung my neighbor's shed. Every piece dropped exactly where they planned in my yard. They made it look easy. While they had the stump grinder out they also trimmed some roots that were blocking my fence gate (which was not in the quote) for no extra charge.

Mark came the day after I requested the bid. He thoroughly discussed the job and submitted his bid on the spot. His quote was very reasonable. He and his crew of six showed up right on time, on one of the hottest days of the year. All work was performed above my expectations. The rapport amongst the crew and with Mark was very good, it seemed like a good work environment in such a hazardous job.
