Mark and his crew were on time and provided recommendations on how best to save the leaning tree, just off our deck, with wire cables and turnbuckles. The tree provided privacy and was important for us to save.

Mark did a great job, especially with helping me determine what needed to be done. The process for the quote and the work performed was efficient and professional, and the price was very reasonable. I have used another tree company in the past, and thought they also did a great job, but were very expensive. When I checked Angie's List, I confirmed that others also thought they were expensive. When I read the description for Westside Tree and Land, what struck me was that the members thought Mark did a great job at a reasonable price, and I agree!

It was perfect, everything was on time and executed professionally.

We can't say enough about how great Mark and his crew were. We would have them back in a heartbeat. They were right on time for both their estimate appointment and on their work day. We had them do work all over our yard, removing a few trees and thinning and pruning up even more. The work went quickly and as I watched Mark up in the trees, I really gained an appreciation for his expertise. He dropped the large tree down in a couple very large pieces exactly where it needed to go and didn't damage any of the surrounding shrubbery. This tree was leaning precariously over our house, but I don't think even a single branch landed on our roof. We were so impressed with Mark's work and with how well his crew kept our yard cleared of brush that we had Mark do an additional tree as soon as he was done with the others. Mark's prices are very affordable and he, his son and their other crew member were great to have around. The trees now look beautiful and our yard is bright and airy. It's like we live in a completely different place. We were almost sad we didn't have any more trees for Mark to work on. We can't recommend him highly enough.

He did really good! It took him more time than he thought it would. So, he came back and worked on a Saturday for free so that he wouldn't go over his quote. They did a really great job! We were very pleased with him. He was one of the cheaper quotes we received.

This could not have been easier. My initial communication with Mark was via e-mail, which he answered promptly. He was here to give an estimate within 24 hours of initial contact. The work was then completed within days. He did an excellent job, and cleaned up everything completely. I am a totally satisfied customer.

These guys are great. Mark came out to quote within a day or 2 of my initial call. I called to accept the quote and add a few more items and the job was completed less than a week later. Mark & I also discussed some of the other trees in our yard. He is very observant and knowledgeable. Suggested some tree maintenance that might need to be done in the next few years and told me how to trim my new Asian pear. During the pruning they carefully moved items that were in the way and then returned them to their original locations. They cleaned up the mess as they were working. Thanks for the great work. This is the 2nd job he's done for us and we'll be calling Mark next time we need tree work. I highly recommend Westside Tree.

Mark came our very promptly for an estimate, and offered me two different options depending on how much work I wanted them to do and how much I wanted to spend at that time. He was extremely knowledgeable, pointing out certain things about the tree and offering advice about what to watch for with this particular tree and its location. Once I contacted him about doing the work, he was able to schedule me in very quickly. They came out while I was at work and when I came home it was an amazing difference. They cleaned up nicely, though they left a neat pile of wood on the lawn. Unfortunately I don't have a fireplace, but I had neighbors who were more than happy to take the wood. Great work, painless process!

Mark came out the day I called and provided a written estimate for the work we wanted done. He also suggested giving away the wood (we didn't want it) rather than paying him to haul it off and suggested possible recipients. He scheduled the work for early the following week and, when a weather problem prevented it, he contacted us and rescheduled for two days later. Mark and his three helpers arrived on schedule and did a good job. Small branches were hauled out to a chipper and larger ones were cut up and stacked for firewood. Grindings from the Maple stump were used to fill the hole with excess spread around shrubs per my request. The crew also did a good job on cleanup before they left.

To get an estimate I had to make a second phone call but after that call, I received an estimate on my doorstep that afternoon. Later in the week, Mark and I arranged a time for us to meet and talk through the job. They were flexible with the job scheduling so that I could get my power company out to drop the electric line from the pole on the morning the work was scheduled. Mark and his crew arrived on time at 8:30am the day of the job. They took a break for lunch and returned to finish the job and clean up. Mark and his crew appreciated having the line dropped because it made it a lot easier to remove the limbs. They did a great job cleaning up and I requested a little extra attention to a particular area and they blew the wood chips where I requested.

They arrived on time and did a very through job. The tree was within 10 ft. from power lines; this was no problem for them. To get to the stump they had to cross my new patio and then get the grinder up over a railroad tie wall. This was done without any damage or marking. They left the yard free of all debris as promised. A job very well done!

Mark was spot on, on time for both the estimate and work. I can't tell you how much that means when the majority of various contractors don't seem to consider time as factor in the customer service. The work was done quickly and by 1 pm in the day. I think the crew of 4 of them total was what did it. They all worked well together and hustled all day.

I called Mark for an estimate and he said he would be out on Friday or Monday to give an estimate. It is Wednesday and I still haven't heard from him. Not good for business!

Mark was responsive, left the estimate as promised. Then once hired, he showed up and did the job quickly and cleanly. As a president of our Home Owners Association we will continue to use Mark when needed.

Mark returned my call promptly to make an appointment to estimate the job. Arrived on time, was very knowledgeable, and his estimate was very fair. After meeting with two other tree services, I decided to go with Mark's company. They did a terrific job, worked quickly and cleaned up so you would never know they were there. I highly recommend them.

The company used a five-person crew, including two climbers, and completed the job in approximately six hours, including a lunch break. At our request, they left the large rounds of Doug fir for us to chop into firewood. Also at our request, they chipped the smaller branches and left us the pile, which we'll cure and use as mulch. They swept and used a leaf blower to clean up after themselves.

Mark retuned my call very quickly and was on time to bid the job. Mark seemed more professional and knowledgeable than his competitors. He thoroughly described the stump grinding process and gave detailed specifications about how deep and how wide he would grind the area. The other bidders did not specify how thorough their grinding job would be. They arrived right on time on job day and finished just as specified. Crew was polite and careful not to damage any other plants. Great job!

They were efficient. I had them trim because of the wind storms. I have notice since that some of the large limbs have fallen down because they were partially cut through.

Mark and his crew arrived as scheduled and over a period of two days removed all the trees. The trunks and large limbs were cut for firewood and the limbs were chipped and hauled away. Mark and his crew worked all day at a nonstop pace.

Mark & crew arrived right on time. Because neighbors allowed access through their yard for removal of limbs & brush, Mark's attention to care to not damage their (and our) yard and plant materials was exceptional. Limbs were roped & then cut, lowered to the ground & removed. I was impressed watching Mark's workers climb the trees, the obvious care in their work: for their own safety, the safety of their co-workers, and of our yard & plant materials. I hired Mark on the basis of his excellent reviews on Angie's List, lack of complaints with the Contractor's Board, & good price. His price was fair, and he did what he said he would. When I first asked Mark for a bid, he forgot the appointment, but then called and said as much. He came by the next day & left his bid for us. I was impressed with his honesty, integrity, and the manner in which the work was done. Only one thing could have been improved: Stumps could have been cut closer to the ground, as grinding wasn't possible.

Mark returned my call for an estimate the next day and came by a couple days later. We scheduled the work for a week later. We had to re-schedule due to weather, but work was done within a couple days.

Mark came out for the estimate, on a Sat afternoon. I had just called him Friday evening. The work was scheduled, for the next Friday. The crew arrived on time and the job was completed, as planned. They cut the tree into manageable sized pieces and chipped the branches, into a pile for us, exactly as requested. I am very happy and would call Mark again. I found out, that several of my neighbors, have been very happy with Mark's work for years.

We obtained estimates from total of 3 contractors. We selected Westside Tree & Land, because Mark's estimate was competitive and his reviews on Angie's List were very positive. They were available to do the work about 10 days after I called for an appointment. Mark and his crew showed up at exactly 8:30AM on the day. All of the trees were located dangerously close to either the house, a plant, fence, or other object I did not want damaged. They did a great job. I would recommend them to anyone.

Called and made appointment for an estimate. Arrived on time and gave estimate right away after seeing work requested. Was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Very reasonable fees with 10% senior discount. Work was scheduled and completed satisfactorily 1 week later. Efficient crew - cleaned up completely when done. Only problem, they were 1 1/2 hours late starting.

Mark arrived promptly at the agreed upon start time. Did the work exactly as promised. He actually exceeded my expectation in both quick and super clean completion. He did exactly what he said he would do when he promised for the agreed to price.
