The couple who did most of the work were friendly and punctual, cleaned up their mess etc. However, rather than replacing the plywood under the shingles, which had allowed leakage onto the overhang, the workman just shoved some waste plywood between the rafter and plywood to shim up the shingles. He said this would save me repair money as the roof would need to be replaced "soon". The leakage wasn't corrected and there is still water leaking thru the overhang. Also they said, the new plywood might bleed through the paint, if so call and they'd repaint it. It bled through, and we called on 3 occasions, to schedule repainting. No one ever showed up to do the work. They also charged us $600.00 to replace a 4x4 on the patio, which seemed excessive at the time, more so once I realized how simple that bit of work turned out to be. This took place in October '06, so some time ago. While I am new on Angies list, however, I'm still peeved at this company.
Description of Work: The plywood overhang by our front door was deteriorated, water damaged by poorly placed shingles from a prior roof replacement. I hired Tri County to replace the plywood, correct the leakage, and to repaint all the facia boards around the gutters, also to replace some rotted rafters on our patio.

This was a nightmare. The contractor promised that he could do the job in one week. Three months later there were still things left undone. His workers were incompetent, when they showed up at all. He ordered the wrong tile and installed the fixtures (including a cast iron clawfoot tub) before completing the floor. His workers damaged other parts of my home and the ''repairs'' are laughable. When I complained about problems, he was always reassuring and convinced me he could fix things; the ''fixes'' ended up being as bad as the original problem. I will have to spend much time and money fixing things that should have been done right in the first place. If I had known it would take that long and look that bad, I would have done it myself.
Description of Work: They completely remodeled the 70 square foot bathroom in a 1924 bungalow. They removed the built-in tub and tub surround that was covering an original window. They replaced original window, remove vinyl flooring, and replace flooring with ceramic tile. They installed wainscoting, replace sink, and rewired to code. Then they painted.
