TRANQUILITY PONDS

I really hate to give negative reviews, but if you are looking for pond supplies, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I did business with them for at least 10 years. Sure they were overpriced, but I didn't mind, because I live on the west side, and that made shopping with them super-convenient. They usually were very informative and helpful. But something has drastically changed, and they seem much more profit driven than customer oriented. My latest encounter with them required that I return an item that did not need after all. I returned it, unused, in the original box with the original receipt. Not only did the REFUSE to return the item...When urged to stand behind their published return policy, they yelled at my husband and threatened to call the police on him.....Now I was there, and I'm telling you my husband was as calm and as civil as possible, but the manager just elevated it to a level that was beyond unprofessional. Even a week later (I waited to cool off before I wrote this review) I cannot believe that they would treat a long time customer (or anyone for that manner) like that. I will gladly drive 25 miles out of my way to support a store that honors their return policy and believes in treating a customer with respect.

The sales person was in training(?) and had to ask for information regularly. The trained professional should have stayed by his side if they were indeed training so there was regular flow of the transaction.
