Surprisingly although I called on the Friday morning after Thanksgiving Ti was able to come out on the same day. He showed up when promised, was very thorough and articulate. I appreciated the time in which he spent inspecting the situation and his ability to convey the situation. Additionally he was able to provide me with a temporary solution as the situation requires a much larger permanent fix.

Ti personally showed up within the hour of our call, and on a Sunday afternoon.  Listened patiently to our re-count and assessment, then climbed into our open crawl-space to assess, recommend, re-route and repair a 1970's renovation gone wrong.  All done within 90 minutes of coming on-site.  We highly recommend his company!!!

Ti is hands down the best plumber I've ever had the pleasure of hiring. I've used him once before and his service has been superb and consistent both times. This time, I called Ti regarding the plumbing under the bathroom sink which was leaking and draining into the basement. He was able to come out the next day at a time that worked best for me and my schedule. As before, Ti was extremely professional, polite and thorough. He explained everything as he inspected and gave a comprehensive explanation of what was needed for repair and the cost. Next, he offered to re-caulk my bathroom sink for free even though it had nothing to do with the leaking pipes! :) When he came to do the work on Monday, I was unable to be there as well, so he continually sent me progress pictures via text which was AWESOME!!!! Ti, I cannot thank you enough for a job well done. As stated before, you are officially my go-to plumber and the only guy I'll recommend to friends and family! You've earned it.

It only took a few short hours within the purchase of the Big Deal for Ti to call me to schedule an appointment. He confirmed his appointment the day of, arrived on time, was very professional (shoe covers on when he entered the house; mat to cover the floor when he worked under our kitchen sink, etc.) and explained everything well. He is articulate and friendly, and I thought his prices were more than fair.
Ti was great to work with, and we'd definitely hire him again. I'm glad we found a plumber we can count on.

We had a plugged kitchen drain, and a clothes washer in the garage that would frequently empty all over the garage floor.  Ty came out promptly the same day we called him, he was actually a little earlier than estimated.  :)  He was very courteous and knowledgeable and tidy, explaining what he thought the problem was, and detailing how he was going to fix it.  He then proceeded to efficiently carry out the plan.  He didn't just poke a little hole in whatever was impeding water passage, he actually scoured out the width and length of water line throughout the system, to where it met the sewer line to the street.  Man, what a difference in the drainage!  The kitchen sink drains in no time flat, and I can now wash clothes without having to hop over puddles afterwards. 
We asked him to re-plumb under the kitchen sink, which he did, improving the setup.  He even realigned the cabinet doors at that location.  Finally he went under the house to check if anything need improvement or repair, and reported that everything looked fine.
Ty is an honest, straight-up type of person, and he is now my plumber.  He should be yours, too.

I have already recommend Sutherland Plumbing to all my neighbors and a friend as we were extremely satisfied with his work and professionalism. Ty said he has a passion for plumbing and he certainly demonstrated it in the work he did for us recently.
Our kitchen sink will back up about every two years as the line gets clogged.  Our dishwasher won't work and the sink won't drain. My husband tried to run a snake through the line but that didnt do the trick. I called a plumber I've used before but he was too busy to come until Monday and I didn't want to be without a sink or dishwasher over the weekend.  Ty was referred to us and came highly recommended.  We certainly can see why.
He returned our call promptly and set up an appointment for the next day.  On Friday, Ty called to say he could come earlier than  the time frame he had given us.  He knew exactly what to do and had the drain flowing in no time.  He is the 4th plumber who has worked on this problem but the only one who recommended a bio-enzyme product we can buy on Amazon.com that will keep the grease build-up from clogging the line (even though I freeze my grease, it still builds up over time).  Ty said he enjoys solving the problem before it becomes a crisis, which we greatly appreciated.

I called Ty Sutherland on a Sunday with a sudden plumbing problem.  He made an appointment and followed through on time and solved the problem.  I would highly recommend.

This was such a productive visit!  This house is 18 years old and over the last several months had developed some issues . Our hot water would trickle when our kitchen faucet was turned on,  not really producing a full stream at all.  A handy man told me it must be something in our water and cleaned out the faucet on numerous occasions.  Ti's evaluation of every faucet in the house including the back side of the washing machine showed debris in every place he looked.  He concluded it was the dip tube in our failing hot water heater that was the problem. He replaced the water heater with a larger unit, which has made a dramatic difference in how hot our water gets as well as the stream at the faucets.  We also had trouble with every faucet in the house leaking, spraying, making a mess.  Ti painstakingly attended to each faucet, repairing each one to perfection.  One bath tub  faucet was more challenging than he had originally thought it would be, and he persisted with it until it finally cleared.  He replaced our kitchen faucet with a much more functional unit that my husband and I are thrilled with. We had developed a leak under the kitchen sink that I was unaware of.  He found two areas leaking. He used a shop vac to remove the water and cleaned the area thoroughly. Again, his communication was exemplary. He would call me into which ever room he was in to show me examples of each  issue he found. I appreciate that communication style so much. He also has a good sense of humor, which helps lighten what could be stressful when a person is facing home repairs and expenses.  He switched out a part I had on a water ionizer that was inferior. I would never have known the difference.  Ti added new washing machine hoses for us at no charge, and installed two shower heads for us, also at no additional charge.  He gave me many valuable tips about maintenance. Ti was punctual, responsible and takes obvious pride in his work.  I will always chose Sutherland plumbing for any plumbing needs that may arise. I have already told others about him. I like the kind of integrity that was displayed here.  A+++++

I chose to purchase the coupon for a full house inspection because I wanted to be sure that everything was ready for winter.  Ti explained everything he was checking as he went through my home.  He showed me many things that I did not know about winterizing my plumbing.  Having been very well educated about my home's plumbing system gives me a great sense of security, knowing what I need to do throughout the year to make sure everything remains in good working condition.  Ti also inspected my washer water lines which were quite old.  I had him replace them with a new set.

Ty was very knowledgeable, thorough and courteous.  He showed me how all of my plumbing came together and advised me on fixes that I could implement for different issues.
He answered all of the questions that I remembered to ask.  If I have any plumbing projects in the future that I need contracted out, he would definitely be on the top of the list of people to call. 

Ty was extremely knowledgeable and courteous.  He arrived on time and we went through the house checking all the plumbing and fixtures.  He checked my water pressure and said that it was fine.  He answered all my questions, noted some potential future problems and made recommendations about how to handle them.  He did not try to pressure me into any work and in fact made referrals for some services which were outside of his expertise.  I liked him and would definitely call him for future work.

Great! Prompt response, was able to come out and preform repair next day, in fact arrived a little early. Communicated rates and process clearly. Worked efficiently and leak was repaired. Our house is very old and when the toilet was installed whoever did the job did not take the time to do it properly. Ti was able to compensate for this and did a great job. Price was more than fair. Any plumbing issues we will be calling Sutherland Plumbing.

We called Ti Friday morning to ask if he had time to come by to unclog a drain. This particular drain was connected to the kitchen sink and the washing machine. Kind of a high priority drain!  We needed help!  Ti was able to come by that morning and auger it clear.  AWESOME! 
While he was here, my wife had him look at my DIY install of the garbage disposal.  It had not worked right for quite a few years. Ti took one look at it, and knew what to do. My wife and Ti called me at work on the speakerphone to discuss the recommended solution. He was quite accomodating to allow a conference call so I could participate in the decision. (I found out later that this was simply a courtesy call actually. My wife already told him to fix the garbage disposal too!)
Ti had everything that he needed to complete the repair within about an hour or so.  He was very professional and clean. He wore those little booties on his shoes and made sure the work area cleaned up before he left.
We will definitely call Ti the next time we need plumbing help.

Ti was fantastic.  Our 20+ year old water heater gave out in the middle of the night and flooded our upstairs and downstairs.  I tried to find a plumber the following day to come and replace it, but no one wanted to do it because of the location of the water heater--in an attic space.  Ti was referred to me by a plumber who would have done it, but was too booked up and within 3 hours of my phone call he was at the house and busy replacing our water heater.  


HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION for Sutherland Plumbing!   Ti will be the guy I call for any and all future plumbing needs.  Thanks!

I called Sutherland Plumbing and within the hour they were at my door.  I don't know anything about plumbing...and am nervous about being overcharged....but they did a very thorough assessment of my problems (running toilet, leak under sink) and were very upfront about the problems and the best way to fix them.  I even put my Dad on the phone with him to discuss with them before going ahead with the repairs.  All hardware (including toilet) was on the truck so within a few hours (or less) everything was done.  I received a call back a few days later checking to see if everything was to my satisfaction and the work is guaranteed for 2 years.  Very high quality toilet and faucet.  I highly recommend this service!!!!  

The only suggestion I would have for the company would be to make it easier on customers to use VISA.  I did write a check but would have preferred to put it on my credit card.
