We contacted this company to install our carpet and a few events transpired. The first event took place on Wednesday the March 8th (2017) when the were to show up and take measurements. Well they never showed up. We ended up calling them and they told us they thought it was scheduled for the Wednesday following. Which we had clearly setup for the 8th. They almost emitted to messing up and offered us free pick up on carpet. Showing they felt poorly about missing the scheduled time. Between the 8th and 20th we exchanged text messages. One in particular was the order information that explained our carpet order information and type of carpet. The final contact we had with this company was on the 20th and the day of install. The company arrived on time to install the carpet. The first words out of the installers mouth was we have a problem. He goes on to tell my wife that the carpet we ordered was a thicker material and that would cost a dollar more per square foot. This would have been fine if this conversation had happened earlier. Maybe when they received the order information and should have been looking it over. My major concern with this company is that they are trying to bate and switch their customers. First they had the order information they either did not review it or knew ahead of time. Second, why would you go through all of the trouble of picking up the carpet and driving it over and not call from the warehouse and discuss payment. On top of all of this they were rude to my father-n-law, who happened to be at the house when they arrived. He was looking out for our betterment and confronted them about the charges. All he got was cold shoulders from Tony and his crew. Please be warned before using this company as a carpet installer as they will bate and switch prices on you.
Description of Work: The provider was to install our carpet.
I've used them for about 12 years and I can't say enough good things about them. In fact, almost everybody on my block uses him now. I have a big house and I have about 1200 square feet of carpeting and area rugs. My carpets are 15 years old and they look new because I have him here twice a year and he does a great job. He's on time, I don't care if he's competitively priced or not because he's that good.
Description of Work: I used Steam-Vac for carpet cleaning last Thursday. The owner is Tony Saltz. He also does my upholstery and he lays carpet. The house next door went on the market and needed to have all new carpet put in and they told me he did that for them.
