Sanitary Maintenance Solutions

We moved into an upper-floor condo, and the former homeowner had a dog with body oils that had apparently saturated the carpeting and padding. Standard cleaning had made the carpet look and feel good for a few months, but the oils were collecting dirt and feeling wet. SMS came to the condo and gave me a bid. I had called SMS because they use portable cleaning equipment with cotton pads, so they would be able to reach our condo without a hose attached to a truck. They also use products that are environmentally friendly, and they were happy to show me the bottles and ingredients. While getting the bid, I asked about dusting the loft's open ductwork, and they gave me an estimate for that, too. Dana explained his bid well. We only have about 570 sq ft of carpets in two bedrooms and a hallway. However, Dana wanted to go over the whole area three times because of the dog oils. I thought this sounded reasonable, and the price sounded fair. At the appointed time, Dana deep cleaned the carpets using a dual cleaning process, and he used an all natural citrus solution to break up the oils and flush the oils away. He used a blower that helped speed the drying process. Meanwhile, LaVonne cleaned the ducts and light fixtures. She vacuumed the dust balls that fell to the floor. Everything looked nice when they left, the carpet feels much better under foot, and there are no odors. Dana and LaVonne were pleasant people to have in my home.
