ROYAL PROFESSIONAL CLEANERS

I hired this company in October of 2008. I liked the owner, Flora, and her husband Louis. They cleaned my condo every two weeks from mid-October to the end of November, a period of about 6 weeks. In November they told me they were going on vacation in December to Mexico for a month but they would have other people clean the condo in their absence. They even wrote down the dates on my calendar for me and the time these people would come. In mid-December, a lady called and said she'd be there at a certain time. She and someone else came, and they did excellent work-the house sparkled. They were very nice, as well. Two weeks later, another person called and said she couldn't come on the 24th, but would come on the 23rd at noon. That day, I stayed home till evening, and she was a no-show. Two days later she called and left a message on my answering machine saying that she knocked on my door repeatedly, and no one answered, and called my number, and no one answered. This was a total and complete lie. My two little dogs would have barked furiously if anyone knocked or even approached the front door, and I have a lighted doorbell next to my door. I have an answering machine and no one called and left any calls on it that day. I called Flora's number to report what happened on her machine, telling her I got stood up and the party lied about it. When they came home in the first week of January, I called them and got Louis. He said Flora would call me back in 15 minutes. She never called. I left repeated messages over the next few days that I needed my condo cleaned, it had been a month, and to please call me. I got no calls back. What is puzzling is that I had a cordial relationship with both of them and praised their work. When I informed Louis of what one of their temporary workers had done, I was civil and businesslike. This company shouldn't have "professional" in their business name; they left me in the lurch, and I am disabled. Having my house cleaned is not a luxury, it is a necessity. They were duplicitous, unreliable and totally unprofessional. I am extremely disappointed that Flora and Louis could do this to me. They aren't to be trusted. They started out great, and shortly after that abruptly abandoned me with no explanation. Let this be a warning to others.

Royal Professional Cleaners have done the best job of anyone I've had clean our house. Being dissatisfied with my previous cleaner, I got a couple of other estimates before my hairdresser told me about Flora and Luis. (They clean her shop as well as her home and the homes of several of her friends and family members.) My 30-year-old fiberglass shower is the cleanest it's ever been! Instead of cleaning around tabletop items, as others have done, they remove items & polish thoroughly. They even clean the tops of door jams! Although I've not had them do this, yet, they will even do windows. And pressure wash decks. In addition to household cleaning, they do offices, as well.
