Description of Work: Re-roofed our house. Previous was cedar shake. They came out with emergency tarps for our leaking roof which had to stay on for several weeks...and did stay on through high winds and stormy skies! |They did what they said they'd do for the price agreed upon with no muss or fuss. It went superbly!

Description of Work: Removal and replacement of the existing roof system using Genflex 60mil TPO single ply roof membrane. Did a good job, but there were some minor cosmetic issues. The seams in the flashing were messy and the corners in the new fascia were sloppy. It was installed by their commercial crew on my personal residence. I never said anything about it, so I can't hold them to it, however they never asked me what I thought of it. They missed a section of the roof that was on the other side of a fiberglass patio cover and eventually fixed it. They were super nice and very professional.

Description of Work: James and his helper did an amazing job from start to finish. I had an older roof and needed an honest assessment about whether or not I could get more life out of it. James explained how he assessed the roof and walked me through my options. He was thorough, repaired missing shingles, the chimney, vents, and flashing. The roof is clean, looks great, and I'm confident it will last a few more years until I can afford a replacement.

+ 0 moreWe are extremely pleased. We interviewed 3 highly-rated, by Angie's list, companies. All were responsive, but this one performed the most work for the estimate. Our next door neighbors chose to have the same work done at the same time, and there was a discount for that. They too are very satisfied with the work. Our house footprint is about 2,000 sq ft. The workmen were on time in the morning, worked hard all day, protected the shrubs and flowers, cleaned up after themselves and were as efficient as they possibly could have been. The foreman and the workers were very cordial, eager to please and did great work. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for roofing services

+ -1 moreThe crew, led by Javier, was efficient, hard-working, curtious and very neat. They adapted to the unexpected and let us know when something needed to be changed. We had two minor problems: a worker or tool broke a ceiling tile, and an electric supply line insulator got broken; Ryan reduced our fee to cover repairs for the first item, and although the crew took action to fix the second, it was not the way we would have preferred if we had been consulted. Overall we are very happy with the results, though! The roof looks beautiful, and we have a remarkably cooler upstairs in summer, which we believe would not have occured with a standard approach to re-roofing.
Description of Work: Raindrop owner Ryan Bowen worked with us to develop a unique solution to our complex roofing problem for our 1926 home, which had a standard pitched roof in front, and a nearly flat-roof addition in the back, and no ventilation. Our living space upstairs was an oven in the summer, and since we needed a complete tear-off, we also wanted to add insullation from the top without needing to tear out our ceilings. Raindrop added the insulation we wanted, and devised a way to build up the center peak and install ridge vents that exhaust all the rafter bays at once, without needed dozens of "pods". They installed asphalt shingles facing the street, and a white Gen-Flex membrane roof on the flat roof (no one can see this), to reflect the summer heat.

We've decided to wait for a while before we actually have the roofing work done so we have not hired them yet, but they've been very responsive and have even followed up with us to make sure that we've gotten everything we need from them. They will definitely be on our short list of roofing candidates when we are ready to have the work done.

The men always arrived on time or called ahead. They were very informative and helpful. They did great work and cleaned up nicely after themselves. I was very impressed with the service. I feel confident in their abilities and would call them again if the need arises.
Description of Work: With the snow and ice we discovered a couple leaks in our tile roof. Turns out that we also had quite a few cracked tiles and an area that needed more flashing. We had a few extra tiles in our attic and the rest had to be matched and purchased, causing them to have to make an extra trip into Portland from Hillsboro.

After a review of the property, Raindrop provided the most prompt and complete response and the price quoted was very competitive. Work was done promptly and completely and the final cost was exactly what was estimated.

They took very good care of the job site, I have a lot of landscape that I was worried might get trampled but they were very cautious. Ryan responded promptly to all questions throughout the entire process. He followed up several days after to make sure we were satisfied. Currently, we do not perform or estimate roof repairs. We do not offer gutter cleaning or gutter services alone. We don't install new concrete and other types of TILE roofs and we don't service current tile roofs. We are, however, able to remove tile roofs and dispose of them in preparation for a different type of roofing material. We install new metal roofs, but do not repair existing ones by other installation companies.
