The two man repair team led by James replaced two courses of shingles on the main roof and the entire roof of the sunroom, including replacing a piece of sheeting and using an ice and snow underlayment to make sure it didn't recur. Hauled away all the old material and cleaned up after themselves.

I got them from friends? recommendation. They were excellent. I like that they were very friendly and easy to work with. The crew and the managers were awesome. Every day, before they leave, they do a complete clean up of the entire yard and the surrounding areas of the house. They picked up nails and magnets every single day. They make sure that the trash and the debris were covered. They were really good crew and did an excellent job. I absolute have no complaints. Their bid for the job was very competitive, it was an excellent bid.

I contacted Raindrop Roofing NW to get a quote to install zinc plate on my roofs. In addition I would like to get a quote to clean the gutter on my 2nd floor roof as well as cleaning up moss on my 1st and 2nd floor roof. The owner was responsive in responding to my message quickly. However, when the repair technician, James, contacted me I was very disappointed with the conversation. First of he told me about his 28 years experience and told me that zinc plates is not effective. He goes on on how expensive zinc plate is and how it is complicated to install. He then proceeded to suggest that I instead let him clean the moss and apply regular moss treatment. Fortunately I have done my research about zinc plate. I had read study by Oregon State University about the effectiveness of zinc plate, zinc and copper compound, etc. Their tests had show the effectiveness of zinc and copper plate in removing moss, algae, mildew, and lichen. So I was aware of the effectiveness of it. I have also done my research in regards to the installation of zinc plate on the roof on This Old House's video and other printed material. I know the level of difficulty of the work that are involved. When I explained to him that I know the work required to install a zinc plate on the roof. He discounted my explanation. Since he was determined to insist that the work was really is labor intensive and complicated I let it go and move on with requesting a itemized quote. I asked that he itemized the work for the 1st floor roof (moss cleaning and zinc plate install) and the 2nd floor (moss cleaning, zinc plate install, and gutter cleaning). He told me that he does not do itemize quote. I am very disappointed by his demeanor and attitude on the conversation. It is clear that he doesn't appreciate it when his customer has done his/her own research and has knowledge about the subject he is talking about. I can sense he was unhappy when I told him I have done my research on the installation of zinc plate. Not willing to give a itemized estimate is a major red flag for me not to hire this company.

It started out rough getting the actual job scheduled due to weather, holidays and sickness. Once they started, it was quickly and professionally completed in 3 days. High quality work and materials. We are well pleased with the outcome, looks great and reasonably priced.

They arrived on time, were polite and professional. Set up tarps to catch all debris, went up on roof, spent most of the day working, removed moss by hand and broom, , and happily went above and beyond by cleaning a gutter on our patio awning in addition to the contracted work. They left the work site clean and put back the way they found it. We will definitely hire them next time we need maintenance work done on our roof!

Overbilled me by probably half; tried to bill for 3 visits when they only came twice. Their work is OK I guess, but the prices are crazy. Tried to bill me over $700 for two guys to come for 30 minutes two times.

They added metal flashing and replace dry rot where new roofing was installed over rotted wood which was made worse because the original roofer had not installed metal flashing to guide the rain water into the gutter. These people did a great job and kept me informed of options and progress of work all during the project. They were not the first company I tried to get to fix the roof due to the inspector's comments when I purchased the home. I couldn't even get the first two companies to follow through with an estimate. Raindrop's people were prompt, courteous and did a GREAT JOB!

The project went well. Sean was very helpful and responsive. Will certainly recommend Raindrop Roofing to others and will use them in future.

The job went well and happened very fast. The landscaping and vegetable garden were well covered to avoid any issues. The crew cleaned up at the end of each day, and after they were done, I only found one staple left behind. Pretty amazing! They brought their own Porta-Potty as well. No job ever escapes without a couple of wrinkles, but the two issues I had once the work was completed were resolved within two business days with no extra charges. I would recommend them without hesitation.

I called Raindrop Roofing middle to end of July. I was told by the person who answered the phone that they were on a big job and for the next 3 weeks they would not be doing any other work. I called her back 4 weeks later and was told that they were on a big job and for the next 3 weeks they would not be d*** any other work. I left my name and phone number asking her to call me when they had time. I explained to her that I was calling for moss removal. She assured me they do that all the time. They returned out call 9-12-14. My husband spoke with them and told them he wanted someone to come out and bid on removing the moss from our roof. They set an appointment for the 19th. They came out and today I got their e-mail bid. Imagine my surprise after waiting since mid July to see a bid for a brand new roof. Funny that was not what we called about. And since I have had 2 other roofers up there to bid this job and both of them told me my roof was in fine shape, just needed the moss removed, I find it interesting that Raindrop bid a new roof. I would bet if the other two guys thought that they could get a $7,000.00 roof out of me they would suggested that. Based on that I would have expected the Raindrop guy to either call his office and double check on what he was supposed to be bidding on, or he could have written a bid saying you don't need a new roof, you need moss removal, here's a bid for that. So here it is the middle of September and I have been trying to find an honest roofing guy to come out and help me. So far no luck, and I have only used Angie's list people. Makes me wonder if these are the good guys, just who are the bad guys. UPDATE: I got calls from the owner and some other manager-type in rapid succession. They both apologized and offered to send someone out to re-bid the job. I am improving their score a bit to reflect that. Sorry things didn't work out, but thanks for your efforts to improve it.

They were very knowledgeable and efficient, communicated with us well, and did excellent work. We picked their bid out of several because they seemed the most knowledgeable about venting which can really extend the life of the roof, and their bid was slightly lower than others without sacrificing quality. Now it's three years later, and we're still very happy with our roof. I gave their name to a friend and she was equally pleased. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Marc Monear performed the work and did a fantastic job. He was on time, kept us informed about the type and reason for specific repairs, no problems since, and the clean roof looks great. I would use this company for future roofing issues.

I would have liked them to discuss inspection results and the work they performed, but they only sent email saying what they did and recommendation to replace roof. No face-to-face contact or follow up. The lack of personal contact left me feeling not very confident in the service they provided.

My daughter had some water/mold issues, and they isolated the problem and corrected it. After some scheduling issues were ironed out, they ended up doing a great job, and she was happy.

What can I say? These folks were great! They weren't the cheapest (nor were they the most expensive) bidder. But they were great to work with. They showed up on time. They did all the work quickly and efficiently. They cleaned up after they were done. They also bent over backwards to integrate the project with the solar panels I also contracted for the same time-frame. I wasn't home when they did the gutters and I contacted them with a slight change request. They came over and took care of it the next day. I am thrilled with these people and would most definitely recommend them to anyone needing roof or gutter work done. Thanks, Raindrop!

after loosing it on angies list with a bad review of raindrop they called and apologized for the miss communications and have been very available and helpful since in getting my project done. it was a rough first step but i am now very pleased with the service i'm receiving.

Marc got to our house quickly to give an estimate. When we decided to go with Raindrop, we called to make an appointment and they came out the next day to complete the work. Marc showed up right when he said he would, clearly explained everything he was doing, and finished in the time he said it would take. Clean-up of the worksite was excellent, and he took care not to damage any landscaping. We appreciate the integrity that he displayed.

I wish we had hired Raindrop from the beginning. The staff at Raindrop, all of them, were easy to communicate with, professional, and worth every penny. Their quality of workmanship, even despite obstacles left behind by a previous and unrelated roofer, was flat-simply amazing. We now know who to call for our next reroofing project, which is due to start on another one of my properties next year.

It took over a week for them to get back to me and over 2 weeks for them to after I had purchased the service. The worker showed up at the scheduled time but there was really nothing for him to do since we had repaired it ourselves by that time.

Went great. The only niggle I had was having to email them for a report of the roof. However, it was provided promptly when I did. Office staff was terrific. I will use them again.

Raindrop provided the best quote of four companies that I selected. Their visit was punctual, thorough (looking in several attic spaces), and included several options for fixing our venting issues. They were the only company to drop off color samples. We signed a contract in a week and they started just a few days later. The job took longer than they expected but the quality is great. They missed a few things (which was a bummer). They needed reworking but took care of them promptly. Thanks to Sean, Felix, Hector and the rest of the crew.

I didn't think it was worth it. The Angies Big Deal said it included minor repairs, but really it was just some caulking, in about 10 minutes. The real point seemed to be to give me a quote on additional repairs. They might be fine for a larger job (I don't know), but I felt this deal was a waste of money. He encouraged me to request a refund from Angies List since "no services were completed." He said that per Angies "Big Deal" rules, the request for refund needed to come from me. So I did indeed request a refund, but Angies List turned it down (for reasons that seemed to shift over time). Torrey at Raindrop then went out of his way to resolve this to my satisfaction, and offered me a $50 gift card. So in the end I am very pleased with Raindrop's customer service and the resolution of the issue. I am very unhappy with Angies List and how they handled this, and I will never purchase a "Big Deal" from Angies List again.
