He came out in a short time. He did everything he said he was going to do and it looks very nice. I would recommend him to others and use him again in the future.

Very well. We were under a really tight time frame to do the repair and provide paperwork that the repair was complete. Richard was awesome about getting someone out right away even though they already had multiple jobs they were working on. The repair was quick and he even drove the paperwork back out to our house the same day so we could prove that it had been done.

Very well. The owner gave an estimate which was exceeded a bit because I asked for additional work as the project progressed. The worker was efficient and the work he did looks very good to me. The five year guarantee of no leaks will be tested in the next five years of N.W. Oregon winters.

The work was performed in a very timely manner. I called Rich on Wednesday. He inspected the roof and gave me a bid on Friday. The work was performed on Monday. The work included three bundles of replacement shakes/ridge caps. Given the age and condition of the roof, I felt that Rich's evaluation of the work necessary was reasonable and professional.

They arrived right on time and did a good job. I would be okay with having them give me an estimate on a new job in the future.

With the big storms in Dec. we had a couple of small leaks in our 16-year-old roof. We interviewed 3 companies and went with Rich because he was very practical and suggested a logical solution to save us money in the long run. Rich evaluated our roof, determined it's most likely remaining life, and made his recommendations from that basis. Though we had been told by another company that we needed to replace the roof, Rich told us we had a good roof, and that it has about 3 years of life left. He advised against cleaning as this thins the shingles and won't extend its life. He was confident, respectful, kind, knowledgeable and reassuring. Within a day of my calling, Rich was out to evaluate the roof. The next day, the repairs were done. When we asked Rich about some remaining shingles we felt should have been replaced, Rich sent someone out within a day or two to replace them, at no additional charge. No leaks since and we have our roofer : ) !!!

Although it was unclear to me when he would arrive for the estimate, Mr. Dunne showed up and provided one, which was much lower than another company's. He was polite and worked quickly. I thought he'd give us a more exact time when his crew would arrive to do the work, but it was a surprise to me when they came. They were in and out in 30 minutes and would not have greeted me had I not gone outside to see them. However, they did clean up all shingles that had blown off the roof that were piled in our driveway. I waited for an invoice or bill that did not arrive, then got a phone call saying that we hadn't paid. I sent a check, then received in the mail a replacement invoice a few days later. Mr. Dunne was good about returning calls, it just took some time since he has only an office phone.

Quality proposed two costs: one for gutter cleaning only, one for gutter cleaning and replacement of damaged and missing shakes. It delivered both proposals promptly, and both were easy to read and understand. Quality's bids were significantly lower than others I received. Quality's explanation of the differences and description of the roof inspection gave me confidence that its bids were reasonable. The work was performed they day after I called to accept the proposal. The crew left a clean work area. Heavy rain a few days later confirmed the work was well done.

Richard Dunne was the main contact. He was pleasant to deal with. I just showed him the displaced shingles and said I needed it fixed - that's all there was to it. Since his primary job was to take orders, he did not get to it right away. However, the following weekend someone from his company came over to get the job done. It took about an hour, he handed me the bill and I just mail Richard the check. Job done.

Very professional organization. Estimate was detailed with applicable line items for work, etc., bidded. Organization's workforce was punctual and professional. Their quality of work and clean up was as promised: Great! Work also was completed as promised. I would highly recommend Quality Roof.

Quality Roof came out a day or two after I called, and it wasn't raining so timing wasn't a problem. The employee quickly climbed up the roof and told me there were two vent pipes that needed to be repaired, and that it would be better and cheaper to repair the vent pipes than replace them, because the rubber sheathing hardens and cracks, and he would repair them with a flexible caulk that wouldn't do that. He also re-tacked a ridge-cap shingle that fell off, all for the minimum charge of approximately $200 (I got the impression it should cost far less in actual costs, but I understand the reasoning for a minimum charge). The contractor was nice and straight-forward, and while I can't check on his work, I expect no problems with the work performed.

I needed this work done in order to obtain a roof certificate as a condition for a home sale. In June, I called 10 roofing companies, only four of which called me back, I imagine due to the volume of workload during the summer season. Of those four companies, only two of those repaired shake roofs. I met with Rich Dunne within two days and he inspected the roof and gave an estimate. The workers showed up on schedule and did an excellent job in pressure washing the roof and cleaning-up afterwards. It took two additional trips to get all of the shakes replaced and the project took one month. I was very satisfied with the quality of the repair. I always knew when the workers were returning. They returned on schedule and did an excellent job with the repair and clean-up of the yard and debris. I would highly recommend this company and felt like Rich Dunne and his crew were professional, courteous, and of high integrity.

Job 1: Work was done quickly and effectively. B/c of the potential for further problems with this roof, Richard also provided a reasonable quote to install a new roof over the existing one. Job 2: When we purchased our home abt 9 mths ago the existing shingles appeared to be relatively new and in good condition. However we experienced 2 roof leaks during our first rainy season. When I called Mr. Dunne came out promptly, diagnosed the problem and showed me the reason for the leaks. The shingles had been attached with light weight staples rather than nails. Abt half of the shingles hadn't sealed so that when it rained a moderate wind could lift the shingles and drive water up underneath. Mr. Dunne provided a reasonable estimate for a new roof. His workers arrived promptly when scheduled and did a good job using nails rather than staples. They were polite, answered all of my questions and cleaned up well after the work was finished. The new roof looks good and will hopefully serve us for many yrs.

Called for estimate showed up on time, took a few days to get estimate, workers showed up on time, very nice job, cleaned up after themselves. Would use again.

The work was done quite well. We had a communication snafu that delayed the job; we set up a time but didn't know the company needed access to our outside faucets, which we had turned off for the winter. After that was resolved, the roof and gutters were cleaned, and look great. They also did other cleaning by spraying the moss and dirt that came off the roof from the decks and driveway. We did discover a small plant was broken after the work was done, and guess that a worker stepped on it or that some equipment was dragged over it.

Did not hire. I discovered brown stains and leaks on my ceiling during the snow days a week or so ago. I called Quality Roof. They told me they couldn't come out until the snow melted which I understood. After the snow melted they didn't want to schedule an appointment. They wanted me to be available at their convenience (i.e., they called me at work and and wanted to know if I could meet them at my house because their guy was going to be there in 45 minutes). I told them no. I had told them initially that I could perhaps set something up first thing in the morning if I knew a day in advance but this is not what they did. They called me the next day with the same scenario. My son was home so I told them to go ahead over. They called me on the phone and said something vague about needing some vents. Never received anything in writing. Never told me how they were going to fix my leaks.

Went great. Very attentive service from initial call to visit for bid to completion of work. Project was delayed due to horrible weather for about a week, but that was no problem.

They did everything they said they were going to do from the initial visit for an estimate to the cleaning itself. The roof is completely clear now of leaves, wet debris from several seasons and branches. The downspouts are draining after being plugged by debris. They cleaned up after themselves so well that I had no idea they had been here until I saw the invoice in my door and looked up at the roof.

Excellent work. They had a crew out the morning I called. They found the source of the leak and performed a temporary fix the same day. After the storms passed, they returned and completed the repairs. I was very impressed at how quickly they were able to isolate the source (a lack of flashing around the chimney and dried out tar sealant from the previous homeowner's poor roofing job).

Very expensive for what I got and the amount of time on the job. The other leak was not fixed and Richard told me if I had a problem to call and he'd fix it. Well with the downpour of rain this November, I had major water problems (water running down my internal wall). I quickly called Richard and and he put me off 4 days. I called him back and and coordinated a date and time with another repair person. Richard left me a message and said others had much worst leaking/roof problems. Needless to say I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.. He really disappointed me and now I have to go to another contractor and wait again. If he didn't want to help he should have told me. He gets an F in my book. Think twice about this guy.

I noticed a water spot in an upstairs bedroom ceiling. I called Quality Roof on a Friday night about 7pm expecting to get an answering machine and they answered. They said someone would contact me on Monday morning. 10am Monday I got a call at work. I met them at the house at 10:30. They assessed the problem and gave me a quote. On Tuesday they fixed the leak by replacing the two pipe jacks. They then scheduled the cleaning and general repairs for the following week which they did on time. This was quite simply amazing service, well beyond my expectations. It's nice to see that some companies still get it.

Super nice to deal with. Rich is the best, returned all calls promptly and made this a very easy task to complete.

Richard was polite, professional, punctual and honest. He easily could have told us the roof needs to be torn off and repaired - to the tune of about $1500 - and we wouldn't have known better. However, his advice was to leave the roof alone for now as it doesn't appear there is any leakage taking place or damage to the roof and that tearing it off to see why it's bubbled up in a couple spots would probably do more harm than good - and cost us a good deal of money. He didn't try to sell us anything and he took his time explaining things to me. I would feel very comfortable in having him perform our roof repairs in the future because of this.

I had a lot of trouble getting any companies to return my call. This was not the case with this company. They submitted a bid for roof repair as well as re-roofing. They were honest and upfront in telling me they could repair the missing shingles, but the roof would probably not last more than 1 more year. They were prompt in returning my calls and came when they said they would. Their bid was the lowest, as it was to put a new layer of shingles over the exiting one layer. I chose to go with a new roof. There prices were competitive.

Richard came out the same day I called very punctually. He gave a good estimate and did not try to sell any additional services even though I asked him if any cleaning was required. He sent his men out much earlier than scheduled and completed the work.
