Jon and his crew came highly recommended from our friends and neighbors, and they are the best contractors I've ever worked with. We have had an extremely difficult leaking issue with our roof, which multiple companies have attempted to fix. When the leak came back during Portland's sudden monsoon rains, Jon dropped everything and came out to do a quick patch.
When that didn't work, he came back two days later with a co-worker, on zero lead time, to find the leaks and do a full reshingling. The two cheerily worked into the early dark to fix the roof that day. His rates are by far the best we've seen, and he's just naturally a gregarious guy and an obvious good person who will do whatever it takes for his customers.
That's the kind of contractor I want on my side and I cannot recommend him enough.

Description of Work: While we did not end up choosing this company to clean our roof, we were very impressed with the professionalism of Mr Dunne. He spent a lot of time with us answering our questions and explaining what was needed and why. He was very patient with us. I could easily recommend him because of his friendliness and good business practices. We simply decided to go with a different method of cleaning our cedar shake roof.

Description of Work: Richard Dunne was very helpful to us last summer when we called him to get a second opinion/quote on re-roofing our 1850 square foot home. Not only was he responsive and quickly came out to deliver a sample board, but he also helped us try to get out of a verbal contract with another roofing company which had quoted us close to $3,000. However, that company told us they were ''gonna come after us'' if we didn't go with them per our verbal contract so we ended up having to use them. We would have preferred Quality Roofing as Richard Dunne spent much time on the phone with us trying to help us; he went over and above the call of duty.

When I called him back after repairing the roof 1-2 months earlier, he now insisted that I needed the roof treated again and needed several bundles of shingles and it could run between $2,500 to $3,000?? I felt he did not do a thorough job prior to this if I needed so much repair now.
Description of Work: Check roof a second time in 1 year for shingles that came off or needed to be replaced. They had treated the roof between 3-4 years ago. I kept seeing shingles on the ground that were blown off after they had been there a month earlier. He did come out very fast, but why were the shingles blowing off so easy?

He was kind enough to refer me to a few other places. I would definitely do business with him. He is a delightful and professional man.

Description of Work: During a recent wind and rain storm a leak was detected in our roof. Upon inspection it was determined that two small holes in a single shingle was responsible for the problem. Repair only took a few minutes.
