I reached out to them via email asking for a quote and to get someone out and had numerous requests ignored. Could not schedule someone to come out or get a quote for some basic work.

They did as they said they would. 1) Stopped leak 2) Hired plumber to fix 3) Removed all water damaged material, dried out wall/studs 4) restored walls and even added a dead space access to the attic over the garage (no prior access, add pipe broke in it)

The incident happened at a time when the PDX area was in a deep freeze. They were very prompt in attending to the dry out and cleanup portion of the job as well as getting a plumber to fix the pipe. The break was on the egress side of the inside shut off valve (pipe fed outside faucet) so the house was able to keep water. We then scheduled the repair portion for about a month later which was ok with us since it was the garage. They did a great job on the repair work, new drywall and paint. They also installed an attic entrance above the garage that was not there before (a large inaccessible attic was above the two stall garage). They also wrapped the pipe in insulation to reduce the chance of it breaking again (original pipe was not insulated in the attic running along the eaves next to the eave vents).

Nate Purdum has a great and effective negotiation style that will serve you well in any insurance claim situation. He is steady and even and quickly establishes trust with all parties. His positions on reimbursement are listened to and effective because of his style and they are reasonable and responsible in a world where there are a lot of gunslingers. And his ethics are extremely high. I particularly like that he understands the need to remain independent of the insurer's and quot;approved contractorsand quot; list so that he can effectively represent your side in the claim process. I also think Nate runs an extremely lean shop so that your costs are minimized. He effectively used subcontractors for cost information and bids and his main office is bare bones without sacrifice of quality. We did not use Quality Restoration for the restoration because we needed to substantially design and remodel the damaged areas (not restore to pre loss condition) and needed the services of an architect who also was able to serve as a general contractor. If you have a loss and need to have your home, office etc. restored to pre-loss condition, I think Quality Restoration would be superb in cost and quality. If you have to negotiation the extent of the reimbursement with your insurance company, you get exceptional value through their service and expertise. I am confident that you will be well-served if you use them, and I recommend them very highly.
