I went back through my phone logs and could not find a call from the member. If it was my mistake I am sorry but don't have a record. Please call or email back if you still need help with your roof. THE MEMBER DID LEAVE A MESSAGE ASKING FOR AN ESTIMATE TO REMOVE MOSS FROM HER ROOF. I DID RETURN HER CALL IN A TIMELY MANNER TO INFORM HER THAT WE DO NOT PROVIDE ROOF CLEANING AS A SERVICE. I CAN SEE HOW SHE WOULD BECOME FRUSTRATED CALLING ROOFING COMPANIES WHEN SHE SHOULD HAVE BEEN CALLING ROOF CLEANING COMPANIES. I WISH SHE WOULD HAVE TAKEN NOTE OF OUR CONVERSATION AND NOT PROVIDED A POOR REPORT BASED ON HER MISTAKE. WITH THAT SAID I WELCOME ANYONE TO CALL WITH QUESTIONS ABOUT ALL AREAS OF ROOFING.

THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO EXPLAIN THE CHALLENGES OF SCHEDULING AND WHY WE PROVIDE A SMALL TIME FRAME AND NOT A SPECIFIC DAY. EVERY RE-ROOF IS DIFFERENT FROM THE NEXT AND MAY GO QUICKER THAN EXPECTED OR MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL CARPENTRY, DRY ROT REPAIR AND/OR POOR ACCESS. IN ADDITION THE WEATHER CAN ALWAYS PLAY A BIG PART IN DETERMINING HOW QUICKLY WE GET TO AND COMPLETE OUR ROOF PROJECTS. LEAD TIME CAN CHANGE DAILY GIVEN THESE FACTORS. I WILL ALWAYS PROVIDE A REALISTIC TIME FRAME THAT WILL ALLOW US TO BE SUCCESSFUL. KEEP IN MIND THAT LEAD TIME WILL VARY DEPENDING ON THE TIME OF YEAR AND CAN ALWAYS CHANGE FROM THE TIME OF THE ROOF PROPOSAL AND THE TIME THE PROPOSAL IS ACCEPTED. MOST IMPORTANTLY WE WANT TO MAKE SURE EVERY PROJECT IS COMPLETED PROPERLY AND THE CUSTOMER IS SATISFIED EVEN IF IT TAKES LONGER THAN EXPECTED. IN THIS INSTANCE I GAVE A LEAD TIME OF 4 TO 5 WEEKS. IN FACT WE STARTED AND COMPLETED THE ROOF PROJECT WITHIN THAT TIME FRAME. THIS WAS A SUCCESSFUL PROJECT OTHER THAN THIS MISUNDERSTANDING.

Greg, submitted a detailed bid with all work to be performed with pricing. Start and completion times were agreed and performed on time! Clean up was excellent. Greg is very responsive, polite and professional. I would certainly recommend him for future work.
Description of Work: Replacement of entire roof on a 1928 Dutch Colonial home in Portland, Oregon. Composite material was removed, new 30 year composite was added,some plywood was removed and replaced, flashing replaced and edge trim flashing replaced. All material was removed from the site and left very clean.

Greg was responsive and knowledgeable about roofing and our needs. He gave us several options over the phone. The information was helpful. He wanted us to find out the pitch of the roof to see if using and ice & water shield would work for our low sloped roof. We ended up hiring a roofer who actually came out to look at the job. We called them for an estimate for re-roofing a low-sloped area which currently has a tar and gravel roof.

THE ANGIE'S LIST MEMBER CALLED AND DESCRIBED A HOUSE STYLE AND ROOF SYSTEM THAT IS NOT WITHIN OUR SCOPE OF BUSINESS. EVEN THOUGH I WAS UNABLE TO INSTALL THE MEMBER’S ROOF, I FELT IT WAS APPROPRIATE TO ANSWER QUESTIONS AND PROVIDE ROOFING INFORMATION SPECIFIC TO THEIR SITUATION. I DID HAVE A CONVERSATION WITH THE MEMBER FOR 15 TO 20 MINUTES WHICH INCLUDED INFORMATION ON APPLICATIONS AND MATERIAL OPTIONS. IT IS OUR GOAL TO ENSURE THAT EACH CUSTOMERS NEEDS ARE MET EVEN IF PRIME ROOFING IS NOT INVOLVED IN THE INSTALLATION.

EXCELLENT JOB, WITH VERY GOOD INITIAL REVIEW OF NEEDED COMPONENTS. DID NOT TRY TO SELL JUST A ROOF, BUT RATHER VERY GOOD EVALUATION OF STRUCTURAL DEFECTS THAT HAD LED TO PROBLEMS, SUGGESTED NEEDED REPAIRS AND IMPROVEMENTS, ARRANGED FOR SUBCONTRACTORS. ALL DONE ON TIME (VERY RAPIDLY) AND AT WRITTEN AGREED UPON PRICE. NOT THE CHEAPEST, BUT EXCELLENT WORKMANSHIP AND MATERIALS. VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER.

IN WORKING WITH THIS COMPANY, I APPRECIATED FULL INFORMATION OF WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN, FULL INFORMATION OF WHAT PRODUCTS WOULD BE USED, FULL INPUT ON WHAT PRODUCTS WOULD BE USED. THEIR EXTERIOR CLEAN UP WAS JUST FINE (THEY WERE NOT INSIDE, BUT HAD WARNED ME THAT ROOFING WORK CAN UPSET WHAT YOU HAVE IN YOUR ATTIC, AND THEY WERE RIGHT!). I FOUND THEIR WORK, CALL BACK, AND GENERAL DEMEANOR PROFESSIONAL, TIMELY, POLITE, AND EFFECTIVE.
Description of Work: I HAD 3 SECTIONS OF OUR OLD, ENORMOUS ROOF REDONE. A BARNLIKE SECTION NEEDED DECKING, TWO LOW SLOPE SECTIONS NEEDED SPECIAL 'FELT' WHICH WAS ACTUALLY CLOSER TO NEOPRENE. ONE SECTION NEEDED TO BE WALKABLE. THE STEEP, BARNLIKE PART WAS ONLY ONE SIDE OF THE ROOF, SO THEY HAD TO DO AN INTERESTING JOIN TO THE OPPOSITE SIDE. THEY ALSO DID TEAR OFF AND CART AWAY OF OLD ROOFING.
