Phil's Fireplace

It was a really good experience and they are very professional and timely. The gentleman was a very nice person who shows concern for the work he does. He did an excellent job and the fireplace looks great! He even took the time to show us things about the fireplace that we didn't know.

Our gas fireplace came with the house when we purchased it ten years ago. We've never had any maintenance done on it. Recently we heard from a relative that their gas fireplace had a carbon monoxide leak that almost killed them! That prompted us to call Phil's Fireplace to have our fireplace checked out. Phil arrived on time totally prepared for anything he might find. He assured us that our fireplace was in great operating condition and we had no reason to worry about leaks. Of course he recommended having a carbon monoxide monitor next to the fireplace, as any home owner should. Phil gave our fireplace and the valve a thorough cleaning. He repositioned the stones to give us a better flame distribution. It was great having an expert who knows everything about gas fireplaces give us this reassurance. And, his service comes with a one year guarantee should we experience any trouble within the year.

Phil did an excellent job on servicing my fireplace. He took the time to rearrange the decorative rocks and material, cleaned the glass, and now my gas fireplace unit burns beautifully. He also took the time to show me the mechanics of the panel features below. I wasn't aware you should turn off the pilot light during the summer when the fireplace isn't in use. And even though he had to reschedule and then on the rescheduled day, he was running late, he called me frequently to let me know why and when he was arriving so I really appreciated that. I loved the work he did on my fireplace and I would definitely recommend Phil to others that need their fireplace serviced. Good job Phil!

Found Phil's Fireplace on Angie's List and did not really shop around. Phil promptly returned my call and I was a bit pleasantly surprised that he set up an appointment for the next day on a Sunday. He was very personable and seemed to love his job. He showed us how to take care of the fireplace as he replaced the ignitor, cleaned the fireplace and reset the logs. He put in new embers which looks really great. It's nice to be able to use our fireplace again.

I'm very happy with Phil's service. My fireplace looks great and is working again. He put down floor coverings, took off his shoes without being asked, and was incredibly polite. He gave us a one year warranty and said he will come back if anything goes wrong within the next year at no extra charge, even though we didn't have any repairs done.

I was refurbishing a rental home I owned to ready it for sale. It had not been serviced since new, 17 years ago. The firm's owner promptly came to my home and again explained the work to be performed, as he had done earlier when I first called. When he came to the house the inside of the fireplace glass window was so dirty I couldn't see inside the fireplace. We found that the fireplace was in good working order and only needed to be cleaned.and adjusted. After cleaning, the black firebox in the back of the artificial logs was painted and the inside of the glass window was scrubbed clean. When the job was done, the fireplace, including the logs, looked as good as new. I had just installed new carpets and had the interior of the house repainted prior to Phil's visit. He was careful to keep the house in good order and his clean up was immaculate. His work exceeded all my expectations. I would highly recommend him to others.

It turned out great. It looked really good and he was very nice and meticulous. He was professional, neat and clean. He got back to me rather quickly and was able to set an appointment with me. He knew exactly what he was doing.

We really liked it. We were supposed to replace the glass but then he said if we have to order, it is going to cost us; so he showed us how to replace it by ourselves. It has been great. He was the best. The price was good.

I am more than pleased with the level of service Phil's Fireplace provided today. Our unit looks NIGHT AND DAY from the dusty, dirty mess it was previously. I will definitely be keeping his contact information and providing it to anyone I know who needs this type of service provided to them. A+++++!!!!

Great, Phil and his helper arrived on time covered ther shoes, laid down Cloth to keep the carpet clean, disassembled the fireplace, cleaned it and Tested it for safety. Looks and runs great. Great work for the money. They'll be on my list to call again.

Fabulous service. Came in and checked out everything. When we bought the house the pre-inspection said the fan on our gas fire place was not working. Had a gas company employee out to check out whether it was safe to use still. They couldn't get the fan to turn on either. Have Phil's come out and in five seconds it's on and going. After that, he fixed it up to look pretty and new.

Loved Phil! He was very honest and told us our 1992 vintage ventless gas fireplace was crap. Gave us great advice on what to look for in a replacement. Would definitely recommend him.

Phil took screen and glass off my gas fireplace. Cleaned box, checked the flue and made a small adjustment to the gas pilot. Repainted fire box and cleaned glass. While detaching the glass from the firebox, due to the age and use, the fiberglass backer rod broke into multiple pieces. He did not have the size or style of rod needed to replace the original one. Instead of coming back another day, he went to a local hardware store to get the needed rod. The charge for the part was the same as he paid for it. He was very neat and organized with his tools, using a very large drop cloth to place tools and parts of the fireplace on while cleaning. $99 for a Gas Fireplace Tune-Up, Cleaning and Inspection, plus $13 for parts.

Phil was prompt in responding to the initial purchase and set the appointment. He was running late for the appointment, but called to let me know. He completed the job in a professional manner without any issues. I would use his services again.

Our gas fireplace was exploding when it was turned on. Phil took the fireplace apart, fixed it, and put it back together in a very neat and timely manner. He also added extra fireplace embers to make the display more attractive. My wife was very impressed.

Phil did a great job of servicing our gas fireplace. He really goes above and beyond to provide excellent service. As an example, he painted the walls of the fireplace making it look new again, and provided us with new embers All the work was completed in a timely fashion, and he took care to protect the rugs, and surrounding area. I will absolutely be calling him again!!
