They showed up at the agreed time. He asked if I had had any issues or concerns with the fireplace. They were conscious to lay out a blanket so not to scratch or get our hardwood floors dirty or damaged. They were quick and answered any questions I had. He recommended that I get a fan for the fireplace and offered to look for one either new or used if I wanted. They were nice to work with and I'd recommend again.

Awesome. I will be sure to call him the next time I need help with my fireplace. He even let me know that he can get new fireplaces at a discount.

Phil is Fantastic! He was responsive, attentive, punctual and an absolute artist with fireplaces. The before and after of my fireplace is amazing! He took the time to position everything in just the right place to get the best look. I highly recommend Phil for is craftsmanship and enthusiasm for his work!

He came on time and fixed the fireplace for the cost of a cleaning. He was careful not to make a mess and even took his shoes off at the door.

Phil called to ask if he could come earlier than the scheduled appointment, due to a cancellation. He arrived when he said he would, was very courteous, and was careful to keep the work area clean. He was pleasant and professional, and asked several times if he could do anything else for me. Excellent service, and I would be happy to use him again.

What a great guy! He was punctual, met our appointment needs, and did a great job cleaning our gas fireplace. We had a small leak and he gave us great advice about what to do next. He pointed out the 1 year warrantee and told us "I work for you for the next year". Great deal and experience.

It was best service we have had with any service providers. He was clean, and the area around was protected and he was very knowledgeable. Show us things we didn't know about our unit. Friendly and it was A+ service on everything. I would recommended him to anyone.

Phil was very prompt and polite and talked through everything he did so we understood what was being done. He did an excellent job cleaning and repainting the fireplace to an almost as new standard and left no mess. He did not try and up sell us any unnecessary services.

Phil was very nice. I forgot our first appointment and he wasn't upset with me at all. He came out on time, took off shoes before coming in (how nice), and started to work. Ran some tests, cleaned it, took photos of log set up before he started. Wasn't happy with the way logs were and asked if I had original manual (which I did). He looked at it and found the last person who cleaned fireplace did not replace correctly. He read over the log setup in the manual and placed as they should be. Took some extra time working with the remote. Not completely comfortable with it and said he was going to do some additional research on it. Made sure everything was working before he left (except for maybe some issues with that remote). Advised his work was guaranteed for a year and that if I had any questions at all to be sure and give him a call--that he was here for me for any problems. Much appreciated. He can be sure I'll be using him in the future.

The service was great. On time, careful, just overall great service and we will use Phil's Fireplace again. We have not had anyone serve our fireplace for 13 years so it was in need of service. We were concerned because of bad experiences with other types of service providers but since we were over due for service and Phil's was recommended by Angieslist we decided to give it a try. And we were really surprised by the excellent work and all the attention to detail we received. Glad we gave Phil's a try and we really will be coming back to them in the future.

Excellent service. Our fireplace had been out of action for a while. The service rep. showed up right on time and did a complete servicing. Clean, professional and efficient. The fireplace is a joy to use now. We will be calling them in annually.

Phil arrived on-time, laid out tarps, cleaned everything and fixed the pilot light. The fireplace was only igniting intermittently, but now works every time!

I would suggest that everyone use him. Could not do better. One year free warranty.

Phil did an awesome job. He arrived on time and laid down tarps to keep living space clean. Vacuumed and dusted everything inside unit. Even painted the back drop and elements that were showing wear and rust. I'm not sure if the fireplace ever looked as good as when Phil was done with the work. I was so impressed. Will definitely use him again to service the fireplace.
