Nate and his team at PDX Rose City Painting are great and so easy to work with! They are friendly, fast, hard workers and they do excellent work for a reasonable price. I have hired them for 3 separate jobs in my house and I have been extremely happy with their work every time. I highly recommend them. You won't be disappointed!

Nate and his team are top notch! The bid was in line with other estimates. They did a thorough job; first pressure washing and then going over the whole exterior with a fine toothed comb. They found some dry rot that my inspectors did not, and did the repairs for a fair price. His crew was friendly and professional, cleaning up every day before they left and taking care not damage the landscaping. Nate is very easy to work with; he is kind, respectful, and trustworthy. I would not hesitate to recommend him to my friends, family and neighbors. I will be calling again when I need interior painting in the future.

This job entailed painting the entire interior of a 3,100 square foot condo with extensive millwork and cabinetry. The friendly team did a superb job of prepping followed by expert painting. They showed up on time and communication was great. I highly recommend PDX Rose City Painting.

Nate and his team were excellent! We had a complicated situation in that we were moving to Oregon from the east coast and wanted to have the entire interior of our house painted before we arrived. Nate was extremely responsive to all of our needs, including a guarantee of when the work would be completed, sending us videos as the work progressed and addressing our questions re: timing, paint colors, etc. Nate was completely reliable and the finished product was excellent. I recommend him highly!

Excellent. Estimate was submitted quickly, photos from Nate showed the work that needed to be done on the dormers. Started and finished as scheduled . Great crew . Left property clean . Best contractor I've used in PDX. Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed working with Nate. Especially his flexibility as obstacles arose (our decision to first replace two doors; then the need to re-roof our house when major dry rot was discovered in the soffits.) He took these delays in stride and worked with us. I also commend him for his thorough prep work on some weathered portions of our siding. His written estimate and billing were very detailed and professional. He and his crew took pride in their work and made certain that my wife and I were satisfied with the job. Nate and his team did a top-notch job painting our entire main floor a fresh coat of SW Pure White. Nate was very friendly, communicative, patient and clearly experienced. His team was able to reach areas we thought would be difficult and they were very careful in covering up any areas that needed protecting. 10/10 would hire again, in fact we’re already talking about using PDX Rose City Painting for our exterior!

The painting went very well. Pricing in line with other bids. Regular progress reports. They did some minor repairs. My house is a 1906 wooden four square design. Useful advice. I’d hire them again in a heart beat.

Nate came and bid on painting my Kitchen at a cost of $2275. Be sure and get multiple bids, I paid $900 to paint the ceiling white, two coats on the walls, and the other company was not snarky about moving furniture. It was a simple job.

Nate and Javier did a great job painting for us! They went above and beyond in fitting us in to their schedule in the timeframe we needed. They even stayed late to complete our job on time. Our painting was challenging because of the two story entry and stairwell. They managed to complete that without any problems. They also painted our living room, dining room, office and hallways. Their bid was very thorough (the most detailed of any contractor we've ever dealt with). Their bid was beyond fair. They finished on time and on budget. They were very trustworthy, respectful and contentious. We wouldn't hesitate for a minute, to have them back for future painting jobs.

We had great communication during the whole process. The team definitely had attention to detail. My house was pressure washed, caulked where needed, primed where needed, and painted all in 4 days. I'll admit, I scrutinized the final work after the team completed final touch-up. I didn't find any issues with their work. This team is top notch. They are good!

They did an excellent job with the cleanup and checked in with me a few weeks after the completion of my project to ensure I was still satisfied with the outcome of the projects. House exterior and new deck prep and staining were done as two separate jobs, a few years apart. We were happy to re-hire for the deck. We have had this team out for the last two years to do multiple projects for both our home and our business. They operate at a high level of integrity and professionalism. Perfect work on complete exterior paint projects are impossible to achieve. However, these guy's did phenomenal work. Nate and Javier's care and attention to detail was impressive. This is especially notable considering how much demand there is currently for painters. They didn't show any signs of rushing so they could move on to the next job. Their communication was proactive, courteous and thorough, whether in-person, by phone and text message (when appropriate). They willingly accommodated a late ask from our neighbor to stain the second side of a fence. After the project, they tidied up well beyond expectation and even masked my externally mounted garage remote so I could paint with Rust-Oleum. The house was a bit of a dog before the work. Now, it's beautiful! I am surprised to not find any prior Angie's List reviews at the time of this review. Don't let that deter you from considering Nate/PDX Rose City. He'll be my first call if future painting needs arise. Nate & Javier, it was a true pleasure working with you.
