Great! They were the first company to call back. They showed up within an hour to give a free estimate, and then, because they had time and the right materials in their truck, offered to do it right then for a discount. They had the job done within 2-3 hours of my first call! And the price was great (less than we were expecting by quite a bit!). I'd recommend them in a heartbeat.

During the torrential rains we had in Portland last week (2/9/19), the skylight we had started to leak. We called around to several places recommended by Angie's List and not only did NLS (Jaime) call back within ten minutes, he came out to the house within an hour to see what he could do to stop the leak. What incredible service!! Due to the rains, he was only able to tarp the old skylight to temporarily stop the leak. He also noticed an issue with our roof that the tarp wasn't able to cover. We still had a leak but it was much less. We ordered a new skylight but dfue to the nonstop rain, he couldn't get up on the roof (we have a tile roof and it's really slippery in the rain) to replace the skylight, but he came back at literally the first break in the weather to replace the skylight and patch the roof (it still needs more work to be permanently fixed, but that will wait till the weather gets much better). We are now leak free! We are extremely happy with the service, professionalism and response. We'd definitely recommend them!!

Jamie is the best!! We discovered leaks in 2 of 3 skylights in our sunroom during a hard downpour. After seeing all “A” reviews or All Natural Skylights and reading the reviews, I gave them a call. Jamie came out the SAME DAY and gave us a quote. We went with it and then waited for good weather. They came out and replaced the 3 skylights (I wanted them to be all the same). It took about 6 hours, 2 hrs/skylight. They look great. Cleaned up after themselves and left us very happy. We have 3 more skylights on our 3rd floor that are over 25 yrs old and will need to be replaced. I will definitely call All Natural Skylights for them to do it.

Jamie and crew did an excellent job in replacing the glass of a very large skylight. These guys know what they're doing and do it well. A big thank you to them for a job well done. I would definitely recommend this company--and I'm picky.

I noticed a huge crack in the skylight and that the gaskets were detached. Although the weather’s been good, I was worried that as soon as it rained we would have a major leak. I called several roofing companies and none were willing to install a new skylight without a new roof. I sent a picture of the skylight to Jamie who thought he had one in stock, and he and his guy came right over to replace it. They were amazed my old skylight hadn’t already leaked, so I consider myself really lucky. If they hadn’t had the right one in stock, they would’ve sealed up the roof so there wouldn’t be any leaking until they could get the right unit. Since they did, they were quick and efficient and they did a great job in an emergency situation. I can’t thank them enough.

I am so impressed with this company. Came out same day as call and Jamie quoted me the amount (which by the way I found to be very reasonable) and he came back next day and had it done. So nice, professional and just all around a great experience. I will recommend them as much as I can.

Went great. These guys are quick, but very thorough. They spent a goodly amount of time getting the spacing and alignment just right, caulking the frames, and cleaning up after themselves. The temperature in my living room on a hot day (without AC on) is now about 5 degrees less than it had been. Yesterday the temp outside was about 95; when I came home about 4 PM, the temp inside was 75. Previously, the temp would have been more like 80. I am looking forward to a serious reduction in my summer electric bills. I'm a believer, both in the skylights/shades and in this company! O, and there's a federal tax rebate right now!

Mark provided a temporary repair and did not charge me for this repair. Received a quote to replace all 3 fixed skylights. Only issue is I later requested a quote on the solar fresh air skylight but have not heard back. Will hire them when I am ready to replace the skylights next month.

Mark returned my call right away and provided me a quote within the hour, due to my availability he was able to send his tech out to complete my work as the last trip of the day. The tech, Eric, was extremely professional, he carried out the work quick and efficiently. I'd rather my other skylights not blow away but if they do, I'll hire Natural Light Skylight Co again.

They showed up only a few days after I called them, which was important because there were leaks. They were very punctual, kept me up to date when they would arrive, arrived with two people and got up on the roof and replaced both skylights. They also asked me to prep the inside to make sure debris and stuff wouldn't accidentally fall on something it shouldn't. I appreciated the warning. The only complaint I have is that the skylights installed don't rate the EnergyStar ratings required for a refund from EnergyTrust, but I didn't realize that until after the fact.

It went very well. Mark was the person I dealt with. He always got back to me, even on the weekend. They gave me priority as one of my skylights had a leak and we were expecting another snow storm. Mark and his partner came out, put tarps down on my stairs, floors, bathtub and handrails. There was not one bit of debris left behind. They had the skylights replaced in no time. Left me brochure on the skylights which are guaranteed for 25 years; and the workmanship is guaranteed for 5 years. Very pleased with service and workmanship.

Mark's communication and professionalism made this a great success for us. Four of our six skylights are large (4x6) and required special order. Unfortunately, three of them were damaged in shipment from the manufacturer, so they required remanufacture, which protracted the process. Mark communicated all details of this along the way. Once the full set was in hand, the install was scheduled and executed quickly. Mark and his crew were friendly, expedient, and efficient. We're very pleased with the end result.

I think he's the greatest thing in the world. He explains everything. He really queues into the type of client he has. Has a good knack at communication skills too. He gave me a good price so I had him replace 3 of them. And he let me know about a tax break. So he let me know about the advantages that not only he gives, but what the government gives as well. He arrived on time. He was clean and quick. He made sure he put things down before he stepped on my floors or anything.

Wonderful experience. Mark was knowledgeable about the product he sells and installs. He told me about tax incentives available and the advantages of purchasing the solar skylight. I'm really glad he did because I love that skylight! It is programmable and a has a sensor that can tell when it starts to rain and closes the skylight automatically! I was kept informed when installation would be and the crew showed up on time and were very professional. I definitely recommend this company.

Mark was very informative about our options and took plenty of time to explain what the problems were in our old skylights (which were leaking). He told us about a tax credit which would be available if we installed solar powered shades on the new skylights. We had them installed, which with the tax credit will lower our total cost to less than it would have been without the shades. His crew was punctual and professional. He let us know ahead of time when they were coming, which not all contractors do. We would definitely use him again.

The skylight replacement couldn't have been smoother! Mark was fast to respond and was very helpful in explaining the different options for my skylights. Once I decided on the best option, one of his guys was able to come out the next day to replace the skylights. We had a small leak in our bathroom skylight and Mark came over to evaluate our skylight situation and to place a temporary patch. At that time, he gave me a quote to replace either the leaking skylight or both our skylights. We opted for replacing both at the same time. When the weather was right, he and a coworker showed up in the afternoon and in a few hours, both skylights were replaced. I'm happy with the work that was done and with the new skylights. Mark is very personable and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure doing business with him :)

We woke up one morning in early December to our skylight dripping into our hall bathroom. We had had a problem with this skylight leaking in 2006 and had a local roofer look at it in an emergency call. He said it was really the flashing that was the problem so he sealed around the skylight and suggested we have someone redo the flashing. Of course we didn't follow up on that but his fix did last 9 years. So we had another leak and called the same person but he could not come out for 8 days due to the torrential rains in the area causing havoc for many people. I started calling other Angie's List providers starting with Mark at Natural Light Skylight (it seemed a skylight guy would be our best bet for getting this fixed right). Mark was out on the road but he called me back within an hour and we texted him photos of the skylight. He told us it was a "builder's special" and he wasn't surprised it was leaking. He was also very busy but gave us tips on how to cover the skylight to keep the house dry until he could get here (plastic/stretch wrap wrapped around a trash bag). That was a Monday. Wednesday night Mark called to see if he could come by on Thursday but I missed his call. We reconnected on Thursday and he told me he had a skylight he could come and install the next day - assuming there were no other issues and he gave me a quote of $650 (actually he may have done that on Monday). But of course, there were other issues. Mark and Tim showed up at the agreed upon time and took a look only to find that if WAS the flashing that was the problem (not the skylight) and in addition the drywall below had not been cut properly so the skylight wasn't seated properly (explains why I could hear outside noises in that bathroom all the time even though there is no window). Since this would require more work, Mark covered the skylight more professionally (with clear plastic so light would still come into that room!) and said he would need to rescheduled us after the New Year on a day when it was safe to be on a roof (no ice). He gave us a new price of $800 total, with a $150 deposit. Mark did suggest we consider a skylight that opened for venting if we used that bathroom often for showers. Since this is a guest bath that is only used once or twice a week, we didn't think the extra expense was worth it. Mark was understanding and I was glad for the information and also for no hard sell. I figured we wouldn't hear anything until the spring but the temporary fix was doing fine. Then in early January Mark called to say Tim could come out and put in the skylight on the Jan 5! (yay!) Tim arrived at the appropriate time and got to work. I had asked how long it would take and he told me maybe an hour and a half. It was probably closer to 2 hours but that was fine. It was done, everything was cleaned up, and the bathroom as been dry, warm, and more brightly lit since then. We are pleased with the results. Mark was a nice guy, easy to work with. Tim was also pleasant and did a good job.

Everything went smoothly. The new skylights were flat glass and much quieter than the old bubble plastic skylights. I haven't had any problems with them since they were installed. No more leaks!

We recently had our skylights replaced by another company. Unfortunately, they were not installed properly which led to bugs entering the house. Mark came over, went on the roof, removed the skylights and took pictures of the gaps and leaks which he reviewed with us. Mark and his assistant filled the gaps with wood strips and caulked the areas as well. Also, he pointed out that the skylights that were installed were not the best quality. Mark gives you several options. Mark was very easy to work with and solved our problem.

Spoke to the owner Mark in May via phone and sent photos of existing units to him via text message. He verbally provided a cost estimate. I told him I would wait to have the work performed until Fall. I followed up with him in September and scheduled a time for him to inspect the existing units and confirm his estimate. He arrived on September 21, 2015 and then was able to complete all the work the same week on September 24. Mark is professional, efficient and provides a quality product and workmanship. I highly recommend him.
