Murrayhill Maids

I hired a team of 3 cleaners for 2 hours to do a one-time deep clean of my newly renovated home. (This equates to 6 hours of service.) The rooms were still mostly bare but had residual dust from the reno. I walked the team around my small home letting them know that I hired them to do the extra deep details to make the home truly "move in ready" -- baseboards, door frames, windows, corners, etc... I also left my phone number so they could let me know if they were done early. (I figured since they were professionals, they may get done a little earlier than the "6 hours" of cleaning power. I came home 15 mins early and they were already gone -- but I didn't get a call as requested. Who knows when they left.) At first glance, the home looked ok... but the more and more I looked around, the more disappointed I became. Window panes were cleaned - but I found dead flies and spiders in the window tracks. The bases of standing lamps were dusted - but the tops that were sheltered by lamp shades were obviously not cleaned. Top shelf of a bookshelf was still dusty. Some floors were new, so they looked "clean" before the team arrived, but I could tell they had not been mopped because previous water spots and other marks were still visible. Door frames were definitely not cleaned as I specifically asked. I called to give feedback to the manager and followed up with emailed photos. While she seemed apologetic while on the phone, I never received a response from my email. Very disappointed! Also, don't be fooled by their advertised "monthly specials" -- they are the same price as always. Lesson learned: If you choose to hire this service, stay at the home while they clean or write down very specific instructions. (Instead of "clean windows", you'll need to list "wash window panes, clean window tracks, dust windowsills, etc...)

Love Murrayhill Maids. They do a thorough service every month. I have absolutely no complaints and love coming home to my freshly cleaned house after they've been there. Love them and highly recommend.

They listen to what you need and they do a good job. If you describe an area that needs special cleaning or something like that they listen to you and they do it.

These ladies are very professional, thorough and quality conscious. They spent about 4 hours (3 of them) doing an excellent job on our main floor . . .doing detail work in preparation for a party. The main floor is about 1600 sq ft. I highly recommend the ladies from Murrayhill Maids
