The most professional company I have ever hired. David, the owner, was extremely easy to work with, the work was very thorough and professional, an excellent experience!

Dave was great to work with. His crew did a fantastic job.

From the moment i contacted Mountain painting, I was very impressed w the quickness to answer my email and get us on the schedule. We recently bought a home in the area and Dave, the owner of Mountain Painting, said he would make sure the house was painted and finished before we moved in. Two workers showed up and started painting. I was impressed when i showed up at the end of day 1 to find drop clothes covering the entire floors thru out the house. I was impressed w the plastic taped to the walls to make sure no spatter happened. This company goes above and beyond. They painted a great job on my house and i would highly recommend them. Very professional and hard working. I will be calling them back to paint the ext. of my home this summer.

Jaime was excellent. He was very skillful and was most concerned about doing the job well. He didn't cut any corners and stopped when the project was just perfectly finished. He cleaned up the area well and was a delightful person to have in my home. He was also able to fit the job into the one day that I reserved, which was very respectful of the amount that I had budgeted for the task. I would most certainly use this group again.

We had a great experience with Mountain Painting Company. To start, the owner, Dave Mountain was very responsive to my inquiries, listed to what I needed and made a reasonable suggestion for how to get the most for our money since we couldn't afford to have the entire job hired out. Jaime was our painter and he showed up on time and fully prepared (the man has everything but the kitchen sink in his van, seriously). Jaime was friendly, fast, and the work he completed looks amazing! When we can afford to paint the outside of our home in the next couple of years, we will definitely be enlisting the help of this company and requesting Jaime for the job - highly recommend these guys!

Purchased an Angie's list deal last November for 2 days of interior painting in anticipation of needing some work done as we got ready to put our home on the market. Held off until recently to use the deal. David at Mountain Painting was responsive in getting in touch after I purchased the deal. He was also gracious in allowing us to postpone the work several months until we were ready to proceed. After recontacting David, we were on the schedule for the work a little over one week later. Jaime came out to our home and completed the work over two days. He was polite and thorough. He laid down painting tarps and meticulously taped off the work area. He completed everything we had planned to do to our complete satisfaction within the two days. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mountain Painting and Jaime's skill as a painter.

Fabulous!! David is awesome!! Was available at all times if questions came up and his team did phenomenal work...I am extremely picky and the job came out better than I could have imagined!! Punctual and hard working painters. Great over-all paint job, except missed some bottom trim in bathroom, paint is lifting in a few small areas where masking tape was pulled off, many small paint spatters on some windows and side of bath tub and some small brush strokes on linoleum there that I need to clean up.

Jaimie did a fantastic paint job! I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The work was scheduled promptly and efficiently.

We had a very positive experience. Everyone that we interacted with was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. The team was reliable and always on time. Dave was always prompt in response to our queries and was clearly very invested in the work. Most importantly, the painting looks amazing. The entire experience far exceeded our expectations. Very flexible scheduling. We had a 2 room project which was too big, so we scaled #walls back to fit into ~8 hours. Arturo arrived right on time, did an awesome job, and finished ahead of time. Very easy to work with, highly professional, and top notch work. Highly recommend!

Although not sure at first, due to the delays in scheduling because the Deal was so popular, I have ended up extremely happy. Jaime showed up at 8am on the dot! He was respectful and professional, listening to my requests and giving feedback based on his experience. He went straight to work. We had been debating whether one, or two, or three coats of paint would cover the pink walls so he brought me upstairs after each coat to review whether I was satisfied or not. This would have given me plenty of time to buy more paint if it had been needed (the Deal didn't include paint.) Fortunately I was happy after two coats. Other things Jaime did that impressed me: he kept the bedroom door mostly or all the way closed, keeping the paint fumes inside the room while he wore a respirator; he used a fantastic light to help him see much better than just the overhead light; he used fans to help dry the paint faster; he took his lunch break while paint was drying rather than taking it at a specific time of day; and he took his shoes off every time he came into the house. I guess I should also state that the quality of work was extremely high. It's easy to put on too much paint and get some dripping, and it's easy to not put on enough paint and have it look streaky. Jaime found the perfect balance, and even the weird "cubby" at the top of the vaulted ceiling was perfectly painted and edged. Thanks Jaime!

Jaime arrived on time and set to work after seeing what needed to be done. I had had some water damage from a leaky dryer vent in the roof, with subsequent drywall repair. Jaime was very precise and had such attention to detail. It was wonderful to see the result. I love that my walls are back to normal! I would highly recommend this company, and would certainly hire them again.

Unfortunately, this is the second time we've gotten a big deal and received bad customer service as a result of it. At this point, I feel like Big Deals are the equivalent of pre-ordering a movie or video game. They have you on the hook already, so what's the point? The estimate from them was $500 over any other estimate I had provided. They do require you to buy your own paint - which they listed in the deal very clearly. For the price they wanted to charge (without paint), we were able to go with another company and get the entire project done without having to buy anything and saved $600. I had trouble getting them to respond after the estimate, which ended up being a blessing as I had to go get 2 more estimates and realize how much I almost overpaid. I was ready to go after the first meeting but I tried getting it scheduled and never heard back. Overall, they're definitely not a bad company, but I'm guessing they got overbooked after the deal and some of the customers fell through the cracks. They were polite, just a little overpriced and not as accessible as some others.

He went on to say that they arrived on time, worked continuously and completed the project on time. They would hire Mountain Painting again and they will recommend them. As a real estate agent, I will continue to recommend them. They are very nice and easy to work with.

The communication was excellent prior to the actual work day. David (the owner) made sure all the details and expectations were talked about before the painter arrived. Jamie worked a solid 8 hours and did a fantastic job on the ceilings. Since I only wanted him to do one coat of paint, he applied it thick and perfectly. I'm very happy with the outcome and recommend Mountain Painting Company to my fellow Angieslist members.

It was just okay. Their concept of what they could accomplish in a single day was different than mine but we came to a reasonable compromise. I wouldn't do it again. They got back to me fairly quickly. It wasn't an issue. We had to pay for the paint. It was good work but they made a mistake hooking up the lights again after they took it apart. The lights stopped working but they fixed that. It wasn't a big deal. The price was good but it was relative to the work accomplished.

d Received email overnight on October 4-5 offering 8 hours of painting for $199, labor only. Saw "deal" at 7:15 AM on Monday, October 5, and immediately tried to accept. Despite being on Angie's List for only 4 or 5 hours during non-peak time frame, all 21 offers were allegedly sold out, but contractor offered to accept my order for a much higher rate on October 6. This is a "bait and switch" and it is unreasonable to assume that 21 painting contracts could be sold between midnight and 7AM! Angie's List was not interested in correcting the problem.

Cancelled job.

I bought an Angie's List deal for three rooms of painting for a set price. Ceilings cost extra and I bought those. We received a solid deal buying the paint through the contractors account at a local paint store. The contractor accomodated us and worked on very short notice, as we had our move-in date just a week away. The three rooms were painted nicely, as there was plenty of trim work to be done around cabinets and windows. There were some brush strokes noticeable around two different door frames but we were mostly pleased with the quality of the work and communication was prompt. When the invoice for payment came in it was significantly over my quoted price and the deal purchased through Angies. After a bit of communication with Mountain, they acquiesced to the Angie's deal and I acquiesced on a nominal increase, as they worked on such short notice. We would consider them for future paint work.

Arturro was the lead painter, and was an excellent spokesman and painter. Throughout the project he communicated clearly, and at the end of the day they cleaned up completely. We were impressed enough that we hired though the company for another set of three painters to do most of the rest of the house.
