If you?re looking for a great agent, declare your search over. I have known Ruth Ann Albro for approximately four years since she sold our first condo in 2007 just as the market started to sour. She not only helped us find our first big house, where we negotiated a sizable discount, but she listed it for sale when we relocated to Charlotte just 10 months later, and helped us get more than we paid. In the fall of 2010, I approached Ruth Ann to assist my family in buying a second home in Portland, Oregon. My goal was to purchase a short sale or bank-owned home, and asked her if she was up for the challenge. Little did she realize how much work she would invest over the course of the next year? Today, I am happy to report that we finally closed our transaction after a very long and arduous process. Our first offer was on a short sale, and we finally moved on after five months after no response from the bank despite many phone calls and coordination by Ruth Ann. Starting in February 2011, we pursued several foreclosed homes and after five failed offers on different homes, we were finally successful. Our most recent and last offer was accepted by the bank for less then the list price. Everything seemed to be in order until the appraisal came back lower than our offer price and our financing fell through as a result. Ruth Ann was resilient and pushed back on the selling bank to accept a new offer price so that we could still close the deal. Unfortunately this process ended up taking forever, and Ruth Ann was on the phone and sent e-mails almost on a daily basis to see this through. Just when we got to the end of our ropes, the deal was approved, and we were ready to close just days before my family would be homeless. Ruth Ann managed this stressful situation with the utmost professionalism and we got the deal recorded one day before the moving van was scheduled to arrive. As I write this review, I looked back into my logs, and count no fewer than 150 phone calls, 250 e-mails, and 100 text messages from Ruth Ann throughout the last 11 months. As I would describe myself as very intense, demanding, and meticulous throughout this process, I was very impressed how willing she was to communicate and strategize with me, even when the circumstances were less than desirable, and she must have endured substantial personal stress. Ruth Ann was very organized and thorough. When we looked at homes, she always pointed out things that we didn?t notice ourselves and was always mindful of our budget and expectations. She was an attentive listener, and instead of flat-rejecting my wild ideas, she was great at explaining why it wouldn?t work, or how we could word things slightly different and expect the same result. She always backed us 100% with what we chose to do. In summary, I would say Ruth Ann is extremely patient, knowledgeable, strategic, professional, optimistic, and resilient, with a positive upbeat attitude. I view her as a business partner and friend, and I eagerly anticipate our next transaction.

Mike was extremely responsive, helpful, knowledgeable, and just a pleasure to work with. Some of the other agents were not experienced with limited representation and Mike really went beyond the call of duty to educate them and communicate with them when they called him (should have contacted us directly). I cannot recommend Mike highly enough. Well done Mike!
Description of Work: Mike handled a listing of ours with limited representation and he did an fantastic job. If you are not highly experienced with RE transactions, I do not recommend this route. If you are experienced with RE transactions: the legal documents, RE marketing, RE negotiations, and Real Estate in general, this is an excellent route and perhaps the wave of the future...given the information that is available on the Internet. Mike put a sign in our yard and listed the property on RMLS. He put a lockbox on the door and will make flyers for those who require it. Mike emailed us showing data, so we could interact with the Realtors who showed the home. See his website for more detailed listing options.
