Mike's Electric

I called and scheduled a date for the work to be done. The Electrician arrived a few minutes late. Very friendly and went about surveying the job. I did ask about the lights and he was polite enough to call and rearrange his schedule to do so. He then noted he had forgotten his equipment and would have someone deliver it to him. ( When I called later to make sure I was not charged for the time waiting I was informed it did not delay the work) That was strange, as he waited for the supplies to be delivered. The electrician, was clear that the fans I had may be too low for the required 7 foot clearance so he ran the electric wires for that and the bathroom lights. ( So I hired someone else to install both after buying the correct fans) It did take most of the day as was reflected in my bill. He left the place very neat and informed me a permit was filed and later the inspector came and he felt the work was correctly completed as he knows Mikes Electric and their work.

Showed up as scheduled and completed the job very professionally. They had to go back to the electrical panel to do the job. No complaints!

Great. Two guys were here, both very polite and professional. I asked questions, they answered in ways that made sense and they performed a few small fixes. I liked their demeanor. They were working from a discount coupon but seemed to give full attention and service.

We had purchased an Angie's List groupon: two hours of work for $99. When scheduling on the phone, the owner suggested I have a "list" of electrical chores that needed doing. In the two hours, Darrell changed out/re-installed the transformers on two pendant lights, showed me how to correctly change the bulbs in the future, replaced four plugs in various parts of the house, and determined the problem with an outside patio light that no longer worked. I'm certain he would have installed the new box and light on the patio as well, but I had ordered the fixture online and it had not yet arrived. I might add that I had purchased the wrong plug replacements prior to the appointment. Darrell told me that he couldn't install what I had purchased as they did not meet code. When I asked if he had any of the right kind on the truck, he indicated he did and would be happy to use those. We are very happy with Mike's Electric and will use them in the future.

The technician assigned to my house that day called in sick, but they managed to get another technician to my home that day. The fix was simple, and the technician was courteous and professional. He explained the problem in detail and didn't seem to mind me hovering as he did his work. I would definitely call this company again.

Could not have gone better. They arrived on time, I demonstrated the problem, and after about an hour the problem was fixed and explained to me in clear detaili.

They went through a wall but nicked a water line. Didn't realize it until after they had gone. They had to come back and fix it. They did but they didn't finish the plastering up the wall. Had to call them 4 weeks later to remind them that they had promised to do this. After that call they did come and finish the job.

The service went very well overall. They were professional and had some good suggestions.

Don arrived on time and worked with only short breaks until the job was done. We'd been told the extent of the job might require more than one day. Thanks to Don, ours was a one-day job!

The young man who performed the inspection seemed competent enough, but did not communicate very well regarding the issues he found, especially considering the estimate I later received for the work involved to address those issues. I had to constantly question him to get information regarding what he was finding, and I got the impression this Angie's List special deal was just a way to get a contract for a lot of really expensive work which does not even neccessarily need to be done immediately, but are items that should be dealt with eventually. Basically I was not having any problems with our electrical system but wanted to know it's status since the house was radically remodeled and updated before we bought it. Also the estimate states it is only valid if all the thousands of dollars of work is done at the same time. It seems to me that if I had to wait for an Angie's List special just to get the inspection done, it should be pretty obvious that I don't have that kind of money. Anyway I will probably be hiring another electrician bit by bit as I can afford it to correct the numerous small problems that exist in my house's electrical works.

They were able to schedule the work within a few days, and the electricians came early and waited for us to get home. They were very polite and professional. They fixed all of the problems efficiently and cleaned up after their work. Nothing could have been better.

The electricians arrived on time, protected the floors and surrounding furniture with tarps, confirmed the exact work to be done and completed the work in less time than anticipated. Clean up was adequate, work was outstanding and very precisely measured for best placement of the fixtures. Cost was reasonable. We are very happy with the new lighting. I would use this company again and will!

IT DID NOT GO AT ALL. THEY NEVER RESPONDED TO OUR CALLS NOR TO THE PURCHASE WE MADE THROUGH ANGIES LIST. OUR MONEY WAS REFUNDED FROM ANGIES LIST.

The electrician was on time, courteous, and wore booties inside the house (didn't track dirt). The effort was more hours than the Angie's list deal and required a permit. They got both immediately and did a very solid job. While it cost more than I had hoped (required conduit, more labor, etc) - they did a stellar job.

It went very well. I did not expect to need to buy a new bathroom fan but found out that the old one was not working. I was very lucky to have somebody from Mike's Electric come over on short notice because we have hired them before and they always do a good job.

I can't recommend these guys enough. Every interaction with this company has been great. Daryl, the electrician who came out, was very friendly and put us at ease even though we just had a bit of scare with a fire in the kitchen. He really knew his business and gave us a bunch of options when it came to fixing issues.

They completed the work on schedule and were very professional in their work. They took extra effort and time to make certain that the new work was done in the best possible manner. Would recommend them and use them in the future.

Except for some delays due to incorrect parts, the job went very well. However there was excellent communication from the contractor about the delay. I will go with this contractor again and will recommend to others.

Competent and professional. First effort did not pass city inspection but they returned promptly and took care of it.

Aaron from Mike's familiarized himself with our system so he could fix the problems. They scheduled us timely, Aaron showed up when expected, completed the projects as requested, cleaned up after himself, and was nice and professional throughout. When we called to schedule work again and requested Aaron, Mike's accommodated us.

On time, in price range discussed, very cooperative.
