Mike's Electric

My experience with them was okay. The only thing that irritated me was that they scheduled for one day and were supposed to get here between nine and noon. But they called me around 11:59 and cancelled. I had taken time off work and so I wasn’t very happy about that. The guy that came out was great. They were timely about reaching out to me. The price was fair. I was happy with the quality of work.

Punctual. Arrived when promised. Finished in two hours. A small issue with cut-out for electrical switch on wall, but was easily repaired. Very happy with results.

He arrived on time, performed the work and was very clear on the charges.

I love these guys! They squeezed me in and then I had to cancel. They were so nice about the whole thing!!!

The folks from Electric were on time and there were two people working on the job. The house is old, built in 1894, so there was some trial and error to figure out which breaker covered some of the wiring in the attic. They were very nice, professional, and responsive. They answered my questions and were very helpful. The job did not take them very long at all once the appropriate breaker was located. I would definitely hire them again when I need electrical services again.

Mike's Electric did a nice job and they cleaned up afterwards. I guess maybe I didn't understand completely, as the electrician had an apprentice with him. They gave me two options, 1) was so much time for the electrician alone, and 2) more time than #1 if it was for both the electrician and apprentice. I choose #2 but nothing was said about the additional cost. I didn't know it would run over the time allowed by the big deal. I was surprised when I still had to pay an additional amount after the job was completed. Next time I will be more knowledgeable about asking questions.

Seemed to take longer than needed. I expected 2 hours, but was longer, so paid as much as I would have without big deal coupon.

Mike's provided a variety of options, explaining the benefits and costs of each. When working with the electrical panel they discovered that the company that had previously installed it (when changing from fuses to breakers) had done some things that weren't up to code. They were professional and kept appointments.

They worked quickly and had parts in the truck as they became needed. My lights work for the first time in years!

The guys were on time, nice, and cleaned up after themselves. I will definitely use them again.

We needed a separate circuit outside for our smoker, and it took them almost five hours to complete the job. I feel that I would have been better off getting an estimate directly from them rather than the $99 for two hours of electric work that was on the Big Deal on Angie's list. When I called to schedule the work they said it might take a little llonger than two hours, but I wasn't expecting three more hours! The parts were $167, and I don't know if that is reasonable or not. In the future I will get an estimate from the company before I use a Big Deal.

He is a pretty good and does a good job. The price is always reasonable, and I use him frequently.

I bought a fixer upper house and the electrician was able to fix several shorts. No extra charges. Was a great $99 for two hour deal.

There were only a few problems with the work which was a complete kitchen remodel. There were some holes drilled in the floor in incorrect places, & the re-wiring of the main panel was a surprise to us. The work on the main panel definitely needed to be redone, but we weren't expecting the extra expense. They made extra effort to meet my schedule & were professional to work with.

They called to let us know they were on the way well within the time frame we were given. Both men who came were very professional and evaluated what was needed quickly. The work was performed efficiently and with minimal mess. They cleaned up all the dust from cutting the ceiling before leaving. We have had this company do other work and will continue to call them when an electrician is needed.

It was good. They were professional, considerate and make themselves busy with the work.

It's been quite awhile since we had the service. I remember that all was good, except for the issue with the cost. Seems like the deal was for three hours of service for a certain price. Well, two guys came out and worked for three hours and then we had to pay for the three hours of the second worker. I mean it was fair, just kind of took me by surprise since I was assuming that when I purchased the deal on Angie's List, that I was paying for the entire service. So, in hindsight, it was just that confusion and additional cost that caused me to give the B grade.

The electrician did complete home electric inspection. One wall plug was non functional and he replaced that. I was charged for the part plus 15 minutes of labor.

Great! On time, very nice and knowledgable! Would definitely would/will use them again!

It was fabulous. He is great. I have no complaints whatsoever. It was wonderful service. When I get the point of doing the in wall unit I will certainly call them back.

It was a good experience all around. He came on time and did the job he said he would do.

I purchased a big deal from them but I saw that they charge 15 minutes of their time for driving to your home and 26 dollars for the mileage. Their hourly rate is also 104 dollars so I decided not to use them.

punctual, courteous and efficient

The Electrician arrived on time, installed the fan quickly, cleaned up after himself and was very professional. He also gave us some ideas as to another project that they are going to do for us. We will be using them again for any electrical issues.

It turned out really well. They seem to not be in a rush. They were very detail focused. We originally had the few hours that was part of the "Big Deal" and we had them do extra work in addition to that. They were there about 4 or 5 hours and part of it was installing ceiling fans. There was two of them and the person that seemed in charge had installed it and it seemed a little bit wobbly and he was more than willing to take it back down and fix it to make sure it was perfect rather than just leaving it as is. They also had to cut into the wall to add a new circuit and their patching was very nice. It showed that they respected our walls. They cleaned up very nicely, every bit of dust, screws and bolts were cleaned up very well. It actually took I think three weeks to get on their schedule. We're currently dealing with the payment issue and they're being very good about communicating with me until we get it resolved.
